This week I started to become very anxious, and it was quite a shock for me to go in and out of stress so quickly because I am generally an optimist. So I was looking through a few of the wellcast videos to help inspire me, and I especially really needed a video like this, as I was having ATs. And it really helped. Thank you. In times of need, you give your viewers inspiration and very useful tips on how to make our lives better and for us to feel better.

I use a more streamlined version. I call it “tell the whole truth”. It’s when you take your thoughts, break it down into its individual statements and claims, and ask if each statement is absolutely true. Maybe there’s some truth there, but automatic thoughts are the lies we tell ourselves. Ferreting out the lies from the truth can really free you up to think more clearly.

1. I felt overwhelmed when I found out my my mother needed to pay three months worth of rent, because my bother would be evicted otherwise. 2. Fairy-tail approach. Whenever something less than ideal in regards to finances comes my way, I tend to shut down, and overwhelm myself with negative self-talk. This comes from the traumatic experience of investing $25,000 into real estate investing, and ending up with negative ROI due to lack to discipline, coachability, and emotional intelligence. 3. I am capable of getting inspired and improve the current skills that I have, as well as learn new ones (discipline, coachability, emotional Intelligence), to be able to bring more value to the marketplace, specially during these times. This by default will generate more income towards myself, and my loved ones, changing once and for all the relationship that I have with wealth creation.

Kelly, To feel better reduce negative thoughts. Be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing yourself physically or mentally with others, reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind [psychsomatic]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15-20 minutes or more. You can sit or lie down, anywhere-anytime, neck straight and eyes closed. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With practice the mind will relax. Keep a reminder to observe your breath sensations throughout the day and night --before sleep, when reading, at work, in school, at home, etc with eyes open or closed. Make this a lifetime habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

I had the two most severe panic attacks I’ve had in my entire life of anxiety and attacks in the last two days. Despite plenty of evidence that my heart is fine I still am convinced there’s something wrong with my heart because I feel like I have heart murmurs. My heart will flop around and feel like it’s cramping up out of nowhere and that triggers a HUGE shot of adrenaline that throws me into a panic attack. Both attacks were so severe I completely lost a grip on reality and what was happening despite having my parents there with me, my heart continued to feel like it was hurting/skipping a beat/stopping or whatever it is that is happening and this kept pushing my attacks farther than I have ever experienced. It was so bad that I could not even focus enough to speak. Since my second attack I have been confined to my bed with a feeling that my heart is weak and every time I try to get up the beginnings of a panic attack set on and I have to lay back down and go through all my relaxation techniques from the beginning. I have an emergency appointment tomorrow in the morning which I’m having anxiety about having anxiety at. I can almost always handle panic attacks because I’ve had them for so long I’ve been able to quickly rationalize them and find that I’m in no danger, but now wether or my brain is creating phantom pains or murmurs in my heart (I want to but don’t believe this but it’s what I’m being told over and over) or something is actually happening(this is what I actually believe), I have a belief that I am actually in physical danger of something happening to my heart, I don’t know what is happening all I know is that it is uncomfortable, often painful, and absolutely terrifying. Laying in bed right now I feel like my heart is weakened and if I am not asleep my heart rate sits around 90-110 depending on when the waves of anxiety hit. For summary, either my heart has a legitimate issue, or my brain has found a way to break through the barriers I have set up against normal panic attacks by forcing me to believe I’m in actual danger through making my heart feel like there’s something wrong with it. I also have experienced these “heart murmurs” since 3rd grade, back then they only occurred once every few months but now they are multiple times a day and every one pushes me closer to an attack. When I first mentioned my heart was feeling strange all those years ago they put me on an EKG machine which showed nothing out of the ordinary. For me, I believe this is because at that point they were not happening often enough and the machine missed it. They also happen more the more panicked I get and create a positive loop.

I have a question that maybe someone can answer adequately. If 'Emotional Reasoning' is considered irrational thinking, then why is 'Fake It 'Till You Make It' so condoned by psychologists? One is the belief that for example, if you believe you are confident, you therefore inevitably become more confident. While the other might be that, 'If I think I'm a terrible person, then I must be a terrible person!' These two patterns of thinking use exactly the same mechanism of creating a self-fulfilling prophecy, so what makes them mutually exclusive? How do these psychologists have the audacity to call Emotional Reasoning irrational, when they're using exactly the same self-imposed fallacy to treat their own patients? How is that justified?

You are spiraling in a different way, but the end result is the same-your method of thinking about things out of your control is getting in the way of you taking risks and living your life. You're right, you could never reach your expectations because you are too afraid to even take the first step and text her. That future might be a possibility for you, but as long as you hold yourself back from it, it will definitely never come true.

The first step is recording because often in your head you're still stuck in the situation, and inside of your head it can grow into all sorts of nasty thoughts. Journaling helps tame thoughts by making them concrete. It's nice if you can accept things right away. However, most people react emotionally first and as something happens immediately get stuck in a thought loop. They simply unable to accept it. This video is for those people, and builds towards acceptance as a final step.

Whenever I get AT's, I always rationalise by asking myself how much impact the situation or event will have on my future. For example: Will I still be worrying about this in two weeks? Probably not, so there's nothing to worry about now either! What also helps is to ask myself if I can do anything about is now. If for example I got a flat tire which would result in me getting late for school, I would just calm myself down by telling myself I can't do anything about it and I'll have to accept it.

That's another thing the steals something from I us or hurts us and then says it was hers or that we hit HER. One time she didn't like Catherine because she was getting annoyed with Jozie (for good reasons). Harika liked that friend. Jozie says Harika has to choose Catherine or her. Every little thing we do she thinks we aren't her friend. She never looks on the bright side and is miserable. She's much better now though. But she has bad hives. :(
