Compare it to a master gauge. They are accurate. When i tested my digital against it, it was within 0.5 psi. The digital gauge i use ive had for bout a year and a half and its still this accurate. Last time i tested it was 2 months ago. Its by Haltec.

Morrflate said go down to 125psi output on the tank and try it again

seems pretty handy. Im always so lazy with airing down, I just put bleed valves on all 4 and pull them off when the tire "looks" right most of the time lol. give it the jiggle test

You need a decent length of hose between the air tank and the air hub to prevent the pressure sensor(s) from freezing over. Have they made it possible to remove the battery and hard-wire it in to power for a permanent mount?
@FortuneOffRoad2 ай бұрын
Yeah, that's what they recommended, along with going lower on the psi output. I'm not sure how difficult that would be. Doesn't seem difficult.

Doing a pressure gauge test comparison between those 2 device will most likely never match. The air hub uses a voltage sense pressure gauge and the anolog gauge uses atmospheric pressure differential. So get a simple digital tire pressure gauge to compare next time. Also anolog gauges are optimized at half sweep so you should get a 0-15psi gauge to get a more accurate low pressure reading at your altitude.

Makes sense! What I was trying to say was that my deflator showing 6psi was the sweet spot for me, so what psi reading on the air hub matches that... I dont care really if either is inaccurate, I just want to be able to replicate that pressure. 🤓

I find my Moreflate PSI gauge a bit off too when comparing to what the TPMS says in my Bronco. Any thoughts?

i deflate my tires by the time you get that setup... but seems useful for inflating

Hmmm…was about to pull the trigger on this system but your Powertank demo now gives me pause. I reached out to Morrflate and asked them about the issue with the lines getting too cold.
@FortuneOffRoad2 ай бұрын
I talked with them, too, and they mentioned running a lower PSI out of the tank. They said something like 120psi, but 100psi would be safe, I bet.
@Pilot5452 ай бұрын
@@FortuneOffRoadYup. They responded and my guy actually recommended 80 psi.
