Automatically change your twitter name when you are live!

This is genuinely a great idea here, this needs shared with loads of people for real because I follow loads of people who will make posts when going live, even Giri, who is on the screen now lol, so this would be great. It's true you can simply delete the tweet once ending stream, but this name changing way eliminates the need to do that.

If you don’t have a StreamDeck!! This very thing is actually being worked on for LioranBoard so that anyone can do it for free. This will allow for a large myriad of opportunities as well that aren’t possible anywhere else.

Best piece of advice I've heard: Go ahead and post your "going live" notifications. Then after the stream? Delete them! They're no longer relevant! I end up trying to post screenshots of wild things that happened while I was streaming and share that stuff with people. Bring up opinions based on what happened, or ask what people might wanna see next stream. Gives better chance for engagement.

OH SHIT I AM ONE OF THE FIRST this means fofa may see this one. I am like 90% sure you can do this with leorin board too!!!! i use liorin board for channel point redeems that effect OBS! and i think it may have a way to mess with twitter as well. or at least control the stream deck PC software!!!! :3

This is good and I like it. I have stumbled onto my own solution to this which might even work better. Make your "going live" tweets entertaining. Take the engaging content you would naturally post to twitter and then tack the "I'm going live here is my stream" content to the end of it.

If this is a function available through steamdeck and third party websites that means twitter must have some sort of api accessible that includes name change as one of its available parameters. Must be a way automate this yourself without these third parties.

Unfortunately, with the recent twitter (X) API Changes, Elgato no longer support twitter integrations :( so no more changing names and sending out go live tweets

How do you feel about twitch live posts that ARE content. You post an image, clip from last stream, KZbin upload ect.

I ask because twitch notifications are unreliable and twitter notifications are another venue to give push notifications
