This may sound odd, but I really like the way you troubleshoot. For example, when you got the Tapeline crash and the inserter bug, your immediate thought in both cases was to try to replicate it. That sort of mindset can be super helpful in so many ways and it's one I'm working on trying to develop myself.

How do you have your crafting and logistics in 2 separate tabs in your inventory?

It's a setting in the options. Interface settings --> Visualization --> Flat character GUI Uncheck the Flat character GUI
