Would have liked to hear the engines run 😢

Sadly the superchargers are insanely loud on automation, they are toned down on beamNG tho

I tried to but the engine doesn't sound right for the rpm's so...

This is a very early build of this version, stated to be closer to an alpha than a beta. Sounds and sound balancing are one thing they're working on polishing, so they don't sound quite right yet.

A few American cars in the 60's came with a 4 barrel twin carb. No supercharger though. :)

Superchargers, ahh, gotta love em. I LOVE turbos, don't get me wrong. But if I had to choose something, my personal preference would have to be a supercharger. Maybe not on a 3, 4 or 5 pot. 6 cylinders sound great with superchargers, like when people stick them in Audi S5's. Then you have wonderful supercharged V8's. Hellcats, Mustangs, Camaro's, even Australian Muscle cars like the the HSV Gen F GTS, which is actually the most powerful car to ever come out of Australia, making 577hp with the same 6.2L supercharged engine from the Camaro and Corvette. Just wonderful things.

The Gen F GTS-R W1 has the GTS beat since it uses the LS9 motor from the C6 Corvette ZR1 which is supercharged and has 635hp. The Ute version Maloo is a certified unicorn as only 4 examples in GTS-R W1 spec were built.

@ShiningJudgment666 Why did I forget about the GTS-R W1, ok mistakes have been made. Lol.

Since you said you're colorblind, do you find it helpful at all if a graph is changed to grayscale? Or no?

For the first engine you probably could have made more power, especially down low, by dropping your peak power RPM a bit. Your peak is quite close to your RPM limit which means you're probably running too high a cam profile, and too stiff S&Ls which can rob the engine of power. For an engine like this, making peak power around 500 RPM below your limit would probably get better results. And your engine flow seems too open for a muscle car, and you may be losing out on some power from back-pressure as a result. Also different exhaust types seem to have different RPM resonances and tend to suit different applications based on the RPM range in which the engine operates. For example, this car doesn't rev super high, so a tubular mid exhaust may have been a better option. In general, having higher average power through the powerband is going to be more beneficial than slightly higher peak power. You don't want to sacrifice too much on top, but losing a few peak HP to gain significantly more over a larger RPM range will be faster in practice.

Your description of the Lambda area sounded very understandable, maybe? I couldn't tell. Love the little dive into the update

listen to Lambda : hold on tight )))

air to fuel ratio it measured in weight not volume, 14lbs of air to 1lb of fuel just as a note.
@leoaraujo859018 сағат бұрын
Just plain wrong. For starters the lambda AFR doesn't even use imperial measurements. Secondly, its 14 parts of air to 1 part of fuel. So it's about DENSITY.

Hi Zenturi, could you do a tutorial on how to setup superchargers? Like with killer-robs videos.
