Hi! Your project is very cool. I'm a newbie. Can you list down the sensors using in this project? Thank you in advance :D
@Hardworkingas9 жыл бұрын
+Manith Chenda Hi, 1. Inductive for sensing aluminium parts. 2. Capacitive for detecting aluminium and nylong parts at the end of conveyor line. 3. Infrared sensors for detecting parts on two slides.

Won't be able to say that as most of the materials were provided by the college and the rest was custom made.

oh i see, we're planning to propose this mechatronics idea for our final year project, but we're thinking about the cost, anyway thank you for the response.

Hello, How did you interface the LCD display with the plc and where did you get the conveyor belt. Thanks very much! Woww you didnt use a PLC but something like Arduino
@Hardworkingas9 жыл бұрын
+Charles Tennyson Hi, I used PIC 16F88 to talk to LCD display. The belt was made from 1.3 mm standard gasket material

+Hardworkingas Thanks very much God bless. Have you ever the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. God offers you the gift of eternal salvation because he loves you and sent his son to pay the penalty of our sins DEATH. God created us to be with him Our sins separate us from God Sin cannot be removed by good deeds Paying the price for sin Jesus died and rose again Everyone who trust in him alone has eternal life Life with Jesus starts now and forever Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 3:16 For God so loved the world he gave his only son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Loves you!!

Can you please share what is the PLC and other electric board that you use for this project ?
@J0rkata7 жыл бұрын
Great project, man! Cheers! You have the exact sirname as me Andrej. What kind of PLC did you use here?
@Hardworkingas7 жыл бұрын
We have not used the PLC, it is completely based on PIC microcontrollers. PLC inputs and outputs were left there for the future system development.

You used some custom micro-controller to replicate PLC, how did you program those and why did you decide to use them instead of a PLC?
@Hardworkingas7 жыл бұрын
Initially it was planned in such a way that it could be controlled by PLC or uController. By the time when project was halfway through it was obvious that there is too much work involved, so we decided to drop the PLC part. Although, we left all the connections available for PLC interface (future project expansion). Basically, we ended up with three uConrollers: 1: for LCD control, 2: stepper motor driver/controller, and 3: main system controller. These three were program with C.

What plc did u use
@Hardworkingas6 жыл бұрын
I used two: 16F88 and 18F4480
@theinspirething6 жыл бұрын
Hardworkingas why didnt u use 1 modular plc?
@Hardworkingas6 жыл бұрын
The idea here was to be able to switch from PIC control to PLC control. The two 16F88 PICs were used to control stepper motor and LCD screen separately because the basic PLCs do not have this option, and it would just send some high/low signal to 16F88 to perform some action. The whole process was controlled by 18F4480 which could be disabled by switching on the PLC conrol option. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time implement the PLC part into this project.

@Hardworkingas5 жыл бұрын
@@praytherosaryeveryday2709 If you are good at maths then you'll find it relatively easy. Programming is a big part of it too. At the end, just like in any other course you'll have to study hard in order to get good marks. The good thing about this course is that there are plenty of job opportunities at the end of the tunnel :)
