4:08 I'm thinking that a large part of why the OHV engine might have been more efficient is because it was very undersquare, where the DA-OHC was square. By the way, there's an actual button for comparing engines. Look at immediately over the top of the stat sheet. 5:27 It's a 2.7% increase in relative efficiency, that's not small. Might answers to quite a few MPGs. More interesting would have been the efficiency graph, so we could see where that efficiency gain is. If it has a much wider efficient band that starts sooner, that could answer to a lot more fuel economy. On the other hand if it has a band that starts much later it could answer to much less economy, despite having a higher total efficiency. That being said, I think the game gives a higher weight to efficiency that happens earlier in the band, so this probably represents a gain in early efficiency as opposed to late.
