The strangest thing happens to me, I am a mother who homeschools mostly I do tasks by hand, I also have experience in accounting for a business, and I also made several examples by hand when I was in charge of a trailer park, I am good at doing manual things like making a Shrek themed birthday party I can draw and do it on cardboard and make several decorations on that theme, I like to investigate, also organize school supplies, but I don't know how to do it digitally or how to make money from what I know my family and friends always tell me that I would be a millionaire if I used everything I know but well I think I need more experience, any suggestions

I've heard about digital products but I literally have no "expertise", I was a warehouse worker for 15 years just lifting and moving 50+lb boxes until my back gave out and my employer tried their hardest to prevent me from seeing a doctor. So I just called out of work until they fired me and started doing doordash and ubereats. I make ok money ddoing that but not enough to support myself and a family even if I had the help of a significant other. Anyways I'm typing this while watching this video and it makes sense if you have a specific niche or expertise to provide and capitalize on, but if you have spent your whole life just wage slaving basic labor jobs to survive and don't have 6+ months to a few years to learn a new profitable skill the advice she gives in this video is just vauge usless bs. Sorry for much frustrated drunk rant, maybe I'm "mentally ill" but everything online feels like it's gaslighting me to trust or believe some complete bs so I can waste my life working at a useless job and buying their bs courses.

I hate capitalism too so I feel your pain. I play the game because I was born into it. I wish we had universal health care and I’m sorry for all you’ve been through. I have a whole module in my membership that helps you find the thing you want to teach. It can be something as easy as meal prep. Not saying you would teach that specifically but giving you an example to show you it doesn’t need to be some big expert skill. And if you don’t want to teach online you don’t have to! Don’t want you to feel pressured. Hope your back is getting better 💖

Thanks so much for this video. I’m planning on selling from my own website in the future but I honestly started with Etsy because the taxation for digital products in Europe isn’t that easy and Etsy does that for you. But I’ll definitely work on growing my following to start my own shop someday.

I know some states charge sales tax on digital products and some foreign countries do too. How do you handle that or do you not sell to people in those locations? I know that is one advantage and one less headache selling on Etsy. Thoughts?

My accountant handles all of that. I’d recommend asking an accountant this question, it’s not as complicated as you’d think though :)

I’m confused. If not Etsy or another platform where you list your digital products…then where do your followers from your email list go to shop your products? I have a KZbin channel but still need to create an email list….but I’m not connecting the ‘where’ my followers go to purchase if not Etsy or another shop or platform

KZbin > freebies > email list. In the emails I think to “sales pages” and “checkout pages” and that’s where people put in their payment information to purchase. I teach all this in my membership and even give sales page, checkout page and full funnel templates etc. If you’re interested 💖

You would need to have a sales page. Most email marketing platforms give you landing pages and simple ecommerce solutions built right in. I use Getresponse personally. I do have a full e-commerce website as well but a landing page with a simple checkout solution will work.

Most payment processors allow for that. I use a checkout software called “systeme” and they’re based in Europe. You can get a free account by using the link in the description of my video

I have decades of experience with e-commerce but not much success because, among other things, I have severe Social Anxiety Disorder. I don’t like being on camera either. I don’t wake up and go “I can’t wait to be on camera!” 😂 but I do love educating and helping people and growing my KZbin and biz. My advice is that we won’t enjoy everything we do to reach our biz goals because this isn’t a hobby :) it’s a business. Go back and look at my first videos. I hated how I looked I hate everything about those videos and I hated them while I was making them too. But I knew if I kept going and kept getting better little by little with each video that someday I’d be proud of my videos and I now am 💖

My biggest takeaway is just being me! I'm a caregiver and herbalist and want to share what I've learned from my past 20 years in these fields, specifically in the areas of autism and adhd. Not gonna lie, its a bit scary to think of going on camera since the Lord chose to make me useful instead of attractive. But my clients love me despite my many physical flaws...hopefully my audience will be able to look past those as well!
