Never engage 4L or 4H on a tarmac road. That was very stupid of you to engage 4L on tarmac road. You should have done some hard work and taken the Gurkha to some off road suitable terrain to engage 4L/4H. Do your homework when to engage a 4L or 4H before you review your next 4x4.

​@@karthikhari6743 Only on steep >30 degrees "broken" roads. Definitely not tarmac. Indian Army and central armed forces engages while moving to forward posts of Mana and beyond. On steep hill climb. Or Tawang. Or Joshimath - Auli. I reiterate 4L on tarmac roads and trying to accelerate is just plain stupid. For 4H, for Gods sake, please take to any beach for review. Yogesh should understand that 4L and 4H have their own practical purpose. Reflects the reviewer's inexperience and over-excitement. Good the reviewer didn't engage front or rear differential lock "just to see what happens" like he did for 4L and 4H. Would have stressed the differentials and would have winded it up for sure otherwise. Or worser, an axle damage. Anyways, newbie mistake. Expects him to learn. For his own good.
