I first got a good look at a truck in 1969, when I started my apprenticeship. I worked for a Freightliner dealer but my favourite truck was a used Peterbilt that had been traded in. It had a wide aluminum strip down the center of the hood and two screws would unlock the dash to fold it open for service. Later in life I owned a Mack which I drove for seven years and learned there was more to trucking than what you learn just working as a mechanic. This truck is nice but I could build a better design in the same space by turning the bunk 90 degrees and have a door straight out the back so you could snap on your air and electric lines without scrambling over the fuel tank. I am open to discuss these ideas with truck manufacturers.

Like the chrome mirror covers vs the painted ones. As far as the MX13 goes , I love the engine. try lugging a Cat motor at a low rpm like you can do with this motor. If I had to choose I think I'd pick the MX 13 it suits my driving style.

Love the color with the metal or metallic flakes. Almost or similar to my new 2017 T880 that's on order that's getting paint Legendary Blue. Suppose to have Infused glass flakes with metallic flake with in the paint.

On top of the heating blower motor behind the glove box you have a sponge filter. It is soo hard to replace it with a clean one. after 4 months your incab air goes through 2mm of black sticky dirt residue.. that's when you choose not to let outdoor air in and want air from the inside of the cab to be circulated. in a 4 yr old truck you will have 1/2inch of black sticky dirt on that sponge filter.

Your under the hood cabin air filter is not the only one for the cab section, that's why it smells in many trucks people forget to keep replacing the sponge filter.

Is the T680 wider inside than the T600? I know the T600 is narrow inside as I always bump into the passenger seat while riding in one at school when going to the drivers area. I just graduated yesterday and now I have to wait to take the state exam and after I pass I dont know who I will be driving for or what I will be driving. But hopefully I will have a wider cab for the truck I get hired in.

They need to figure out how to get a composting toilet on these cabs . They have showers and toilets on the custom ones but I think they need at least a composting toilet on these.... That would be a big help to drivers....

Great looking truck but the sleeper is too small in height and depth. There are drivers that are not tall and there are drivers that are over six feet tall that your truck does not accommodation. Kenwood need to focus on better accommodations for the driver. Using the Freightliner as guide to improve the sleepers in your trucks.

Super singles are said to reduce drag sp better fuel economy along among other reasons, but I like the redundancy of having duals incase one goes flat you still have a tire to limp to a shop.
