JO Gaming There are several ideas for treating paruresis naturally Try relaxation techniques. Consider using Graduated Exposure Therapy. Try urinating in different washrooms under different circumstances and in different degrees of difficulty. See if you can Use A Distraction. If you find it difficult to urinate, try distracting yourself - it is like being on auto pilot. You can distract yourself with other thoughts - thoughts that keep you away from concentrating on what your body is doing. Consider Holding your breath will increase the level of carbon dioxide in the system - this helps to reduce the stress levels. T (I discovered these and why they work on Shyness fast formula site )

Sir ive read somewhere that said there’s no internal sphincter in female urinary tract but you mentioned that the sphincter is present in both sex?

Thank you for this. My uro thinks I have underactive bladder. I take seroquel which i've discovered has a negative effect on acetylcholine AND the prostate. I'm scheduled for a prostate MRI but i'm also going to talk to my uro about discontinuing seroquel.

Great video, i'd add one little thing, the muscarinic receptor on the internal sphincter is a type the causes the muscle to relax, while the one on the detrusor muscle causes it to contract, is this correct ? Thanks

so, why is there both an involuntary internal spinchter exists alongside/in series with a voluntary external spinchter? Why wouldn't just the external voluntary spinchter suffice? Also, why can't the preganglionic parasympathetic neuron directly control the detrusor muscle w/ the one ACh?
@TheNotedAnatomist
@TheNotedAnatomist 2 жыл бұрын
There is a need for an internal sphincter so each person does not need to voluntarily stop from urinating all day. The internal keeps urine in the bladder. However, as pressure builds up in the bladder that causes the internal urethral sphincter to start to relax which then puts pressure on the external urethral sphincter causing the individual to feel an urgency to urinate. The reason the pre-ganglionic parasympathetic neuron does not directly innervate the bladder deals with the embryological development. The pre-ganglionic para neuron arises from the lateral horn and courses until it meets the post-ganglionic neuron, which reached its destination due to migrating neural crest cells. In other words, because the embryological development caused it.

Is it possible to induce a parasympathetic response strong enough to release the IUS? Say, through a deliberate relaxation of that area via yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, etc?

When you say the beta adrenergic receptor relaxes the detrusor muscle, what subtype are you referring to?

4:11 Detrusor muscle has beta-2 receptor. But nor-epinephrin does not act on beta 2 receptor. So how impulse is transmitted there?

M3 receptors cause contraction of detrusor muscle while the same M3 receptor cause relaxation of internal urinary sphincter.....But why ????? It should also contract sphincter muscle too but this doesn't happen.Reason ???

To the best of my knowledge, women don't have an internal urethral sphincter. They do have 3 external urethral sphincter muscles: the sphincter urethrae, urethrovaginal muscle, and the compressor urethrae
