Rich thank you, this was a great help. I set up a mission and I'm going to go fly it now

@@AZ-Drone the mission is for my first paying construction progress job, it’s 14 acres with a phantom 4 pro 2 and the DJI go app would not allow for a waypoint mission that big. Your channel has been a great resource to learn about this business. Thank you sir!🫡

How did the mission go? I hope it all went well! 😀
@droneinspectionimaging Жыл бұрын
@@AZ-Drone Thank you Sir, yes, it went well, I used one of my five batteries figuring out how to set point of interest on the start and end point. Then I put some hang time and rotation at the start point to get the camera in position. I ran the mission 4 times at different speeds and altitudes and it went well, The Phantom 4 Pro 2 is my first DJI drone, I came from FPV racing and building my own kits. I put the construction progress video on my small KZbin channel, the customer loved the deliverable and we signed a contract. The best of things to you Rich, I see you wealthy and well, in perfect health and long living my friend. Jon David

I've been using Maven app with my Mini 2 and iPad which works well. Today I used Litchi with my Mavic 2 pro and DJI smart controller and I'm very impressed.

There are a lot of great apps out there to be sure. I hope the all of the developers continue forward, even with the changing market conditions in the 3rd party apps.

Bro love you, but 5 minutes into video and you still haven’t said a single word that I can take away. Dude, you make we wanna put on some music and get another drink 😂😂😂. But you made some good point. Litchi is an outstanding app.

Sorry, hope I didn't make you have too many drinks. Some folks like my pacing on videos, others don't. The nice thing about KZbin is that there's alway another video on the same subject. 😃

If I'm using the ipad mini for my p4p and m2p and then use mission hub with a PC will my missions transfer across the different operating systems?
@AZ-Drone5 жыл бұрын
John, you are exactly correct. If you make a mission on your iPad Mini and you have your Litchi App logged in and connected to Litchi, the mission will be on the hub after you've saved it on your device. This only works for Waypoint missions. If you setup an orbit mission for fun on your iPad and save it, and then go to mission hub on Windows or Mac you will not find your orbit. So the syncing missions is for Waypoint only.

Hi you talked about how to set up missions on Litchi Mission hub, but you didn't explain how to be able to use them in the Litchi App or how to get it in the LITCHI APP from the LITCHI MISSION HUB
@AZ-Drone5 жыл бұрын
Apologies James. For Waypoint missions they should automatically sync between your mobile device and the Litchi hub. If you have the same login information for the Litchi app that you have for the hub, missions should be almost automatically sync'd. When I make a new mission on my iPhone and save it, that mission shows up in the mission hub, and on my iPad. If they're not syncing between your devices you might want to double check your settings. For Orbit missions that doesn't happen. Only the waypoint missions get automatically sync'd.

Thanks Rich for going through the Litchi app. Looking forward to more in this series. I've only used it for waypoints so far, but as an owner of the Mavic Air it is indispensable for doing waypoints since the Go 4 app has no support there for the MA. I've used WPs multiple times for my Spark too. And it seems that Litchi waypoints may be a better implementation of WPs than what is offered on the Go 4 for Mavic 2? Anyway, thank you for your videos you've introduced me to 2D/3D mapping solutions. Cheers!
