My grandson bangs his head, or uses it to push buttons or blow horns, all the time. 🤦🏻♀️ When it hurts, he always stops, fights off the urge to cry, and then goes on to do something less painful. He’ll be 2, next month. I have a fat lip, compliments of his hard head, from Monday night. I was worried that he’d cut his head on my tooth, but I didn’t tell him that. When he looked at me, like he wanted to cry, I grabbed my lip and told him he hurt MeMe. That’s what you get for getting upset and throwing your big head back, in typical, frustrated, tired, upset, toddler fashion. He’s learning that actions have consequences, but in his defense, it was late, we were in the grocery store, and he was tired. I was exhausted, and frustrated too. Some days I feel like having a nuclear, toddler meltdown, but the thought is too exhausting. Lol No, I don’t believe for one second that child inflicted those injuries on himself. Beautiful baby. Lot of cruelty happens when you leave your children with someone who isn’t the loving parent. Even parents do awful things to their children. Sad day. Praying 🙏 for the family

WTH did I just hear???! “Died with someone he loved”….beating his brains out???!! My grandson hits his head on things, too. Guess what! He stops when it hurts bad enough. The blows to kill that baby were far too painful for him to have intentionally done, himself. Wake up out of your shock, dad! This monster needs to be locked away from other children! Stop letting your boyfriends watch your kids! Don’t let all these babies who have died at the hands of a boyfriend or girlfriend be in vain! They are your warning! Who watched the baby before he moved in? Did he even have a job?? He certainly knew she had a child, when he got with her! Probably mooching off her income and the baby’s child support! I’m sure this upstanding, able-bodied, young man wasn’t gainfully employed! The stay at home dad role wasn’t his cup of tea, either! Too many things about this story piss me off. Wake up, people! Prayers for comfort, and enlightenment, for this poor family! Prayers for justice, and stopping him from doing it again! 🙏🏻💙. That precious, beautiful, little boy. 😢

Always the boyfriend.

The only plausible explanation for the bio dad's defense of the boyfriend is that it absolves him of guilt at not being there for that baby. Holding that creep accountable would be admitting that he, himself, is an utter failure at protecting that innocent little one. 😢
