where does that hole at 2:49 sitting by the intake go to? is it supposed to be like that? nothing over or covering it?

I am having a problem with the little overflow hose that comes out next to the cap of the expansion tank. I believe this hose is supposed to be routed somewhere into the wheel well in case of overflow. However in my car it is just releasing coolant on top of very hot parts of the engine therefore making a terrible smell. Does anyone have a photo or a diagram of how this hose is supposed to be routed? I’ve been looking everywhere thank you very much

I tried to remove the radiator drain plug but it broke. I drilled it and removed it. When I replaced it with a new drain plug, water was leaking from the litlle black hole next to the red drain plug, I assume I damaged the threads. What can I do to fix the problem?

Hi man my tank randomly burst. I’m pretty sure it’s because I put too much concentrated coolant in and not enough water. My temp gauge shot up to 120 on the dashboard and steam came out of the coolant reservoir where it was ripped! Never seen anything like it I thought my car was on fire! I’m gonna replace the tank tomorrow but I’m not sure which coolant to put in??? Which colour? Type/spec? Same with the power steering fluid I don’t know which one the car needs! It’s a CL500 Coupe/W215 with the V8 5.0 litre engine. Pls help!!!

Just twist it, and then you can pull it out.
