The torque is about there stock. It will surprise you. The scat pack isn't a hell of a lot quicker.

From 15+ with the 8-speed, the power is underrated. Most are hitting the dyno at 350/370 to the wheels. Would put crank horsepower to around 410/430 or so.

I have this car in Black, completely loaded with all options. Adaptive cruise control is out of sight, and gives the front a futuristic look. Awesome power and fun to drive. Had for over a year and not one problem.

Very good review by Autotalk. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video and was in much agreement with everything said. I have the Beats stereo as well in mine and I thought that it could have came with a little more base and clarity as well in order to have true bragging rights on the stereo. Funny how the car salesman try to make it a big deal having the Beats stereo too. The big colored console screen is a great feature to have with the Nav, back-up camera, radio, etc. I also have the white/black leather seats with vent controls for air or heat. Using the air vented seats for where I live is great. I just bought my '2015 Dodge Charger R/T with the V-8 Hemi engine about 2-weeks ago and I love it. I am 44-years old and have had many vehicles and this is by far my best vehicle I ever driven. I did test drive a V-6 model before driving the Hemi model and I thought it was great as well. But once I drove the big V-8 Hemi model I was sold and I knew that this was the car for me. I drive on I-85 in the Greenville South Carolina area frequently and it sure is nice to have the engine power to help me quickly get around all the semi tractor trailers that crowd up the highway all the time whenever I need to. Keep up the good reviews Autotalk!

When he test drove the v6 it must have had upgrades to the suspension & other goodies. This RT is base/standard so it doesn't have the upgrades to make it feel like he can handle turns... That's at least my guess.

You talked about the steering being soft, it has 3 modes. did you change it? You put it in sport mode, but did you know it changes gears in 240ms? Down from 400 on 2014 cars. Regarding Sport, did you know that ESP is still on? You cant drift the car unless you get a tazer and defeat it which also unlocks all the EVIC performance pages. The 10 spkr Beats isn't good?? did you try tuning it? I have a 2015 RT premium and it has fantastic adjustable features. Sorry, but owning one, your review didn't seem too thorough. Only that you thought it was "good".

If you paid over $37,000.00 for this car, you paid too much. I bought a brand new 2013 R/T Max with a sun roof as well as heated and cooling cup holders and paid under $33,000.00. Moral of the story is.......SHOP AROUND! Granted, I went to about 8 different dealers, but it paid off. I love the car!

+leoj227 I think his comes with the better Road and Track package but yeah ive seen R/T with R and T for less the price as low as 35k the most. For the base RT ive seen some 29k ish. For that price though I'll just get a used SRT8 or a Scat pack

Does this guy realize that the steering wheel stiffness can be adjusted between 3 options: Comfortable, Normal and Sport? Maybe he should mess around with the settings a bit before making a video reviewing the car where he complains about the steering wheel feel...

just upgraded to the v8 and you're spot on the v6 felt more sporty and light it does feel like a different car but i really love the v8 more thats because i wanted more power, i have the cheaper alpine sound system and love it sounds clear, I feel the beats audio thing is a money thing you're just paying for the red B to be placed all over the interior. Great American car. If you care about gas mileage don't buy a HEMI !!!!

+AutoTalk.com you need to adjust the settings in the equalizer menu for the stereo..... I too have the beats stereo and it is incredible, one of the best that I have ever heard (yes I grew up around aftermarket stereo systems)

i also have the beats and think the system is great! i can crank my music up to full volume and there is 0 distortion. so i think the settings may have needed to be adjusted in your test car.
