@@fullsend5437 Do you have any mods at all, or is it completely stock? Dodge did a DAMN good job of tuning their cars. Only if you did crazy mods, would I suggest that you need tuning. Tuning is a bit more difficult. Its best to find a tuning shop in your city to handle your tunes after you mod your car. If you don't want to take it to them, you can have them do email tunes, and you'd need that $500 diablo tuner to be able to import the tunes they email you. Its a bit less quick that way, but after time, it will be right. You'd have to report back to them what the car IS doing and what its NOT doing. Id suggest taking it to a tuner so they can Dyno it as they tune it! Thats the best route.

I bought my 2013 Charger Rt Max Awd brand new in 2012. It had one tenth of a mile on the odometer. 9 years later it just turned 84k. All done by me. Only changed water pump 3 years ago. Dealer has done several recall repairs to it and I added R1 drilled and slotted rotors and brakes, oil catch can by UPR and Scott Drake strut tower brace. It came with the Alpine system which was junk so I upgraded the entire audio system and added an Northstar AGM battery. I maintain my car on a strict oil change time line. I have went through 3 sets of tires and 2 brake changes. Aside from nicks and dings from age and use it is nearly showroom condition. I love this car.

To anyone looking at a high mileage Hemi car, it all depends on how it was taken care of. I looked at 10 - 15 Charger RT and Challenger RT and ended up getting a 2013 Charger RT with 130k because it was the cleanest. Coolant reservoir and air filter are good indicators of how its been taken care of. Im a bit over 150k hard miles and shes loving it. Installed new suspension, Long tube headers, SLP catback, Getrag 3.91 LSD, Legmaker CAI, MSD coil packs, a HemiFever 93 tune. I drive it hard every week and its holding up well, all about maintenance. Most of them that I looked at had a musty brown coolant reservoir, lookin for bright orange on an 11-14 Hemi.

Great video bro , your car looks clean . Hopefully mine lasts as long . I got a 2021 hemi rt charger blacktop edition with red seats 0 miles it came out to like 42000 plus taxes . The scat pack was like 48k at the time . Do you recommend any warranty besides the usual ?
@BamaTidefan19672 жыл бұрын
You can't go wrong with a Mopar Maxcare warranty. Personally I wouldn't mess with any kind of non factory warranty. Just make sure you shop around on the internet for the best price and not go straight to the dealer to buy one. Also keep all your maintenance receipts.
@THEECATGUY Жыл бұрын
I would go with the extended warranty. I regret not purchasing my extended warranty before the deadline came up. IMO, the extra 2-3k in the extended warranty will pay for itself over time if you decide to keep the car for the long haul.

The OEMs build some of their vehicles in other places for cheaper labor, or tax purposes, but the design and testing is done in America. The 5.7 is an old pushrod design from decades ago with some modern touches.
