@Skip R Pony Car is a Mustang thing. Other cars such as the Camaro was indirectly given that name because it was similar in size. Car folks or not, no one referrers to a 427 big block COPO or a ZL-1 as a pony car. And definitely not a beautifully restored version with a 572.

@Skip R Challengers, stangs and camaros can be muscle cars too. Just because they are pony cars, doesn't mean they can't be muscle cars. You can turn a luxury car into a muscle car if you want to also. When it comes to muscle cars, just like rock music, no one follows your rules. Your rules are made to be broken. The styling is absolutely period correct and on point, and doesn't have the cheap race car look where someone just rips out the entire interior to save 40 pounds. Nobody was punching there 454 to 572, except for maybe some hard-core drag racers who had a load of cash laying around. Even if some people were driving around back in the day how many do you thing you would actually hear drive by? They are a crate engine and I've never seen one driving around in person, every chevy around here is a 350 with a hot cam to make people think they are running big power but most are not.
