This shoot was so much fun! Derek brought his sick F100 out and he threw down. Donuts. Burnouts and just pure driving fun. This truck is a serious build from the custom chassis up including suspension, brakes, Forgeline wheels and more. He auto crosses this thing and wins, that's how badass it is.

I had a '62 F100 that someone had shoehorned a 430 Mercury Marauder engine into, and it was suitably dangerous with almost no weight over the rear wheels (and probably didn't make as much power as this monster). What a nifty build!😉👍

Yep, it would pass just about anything but a gas station.😆 Once I actually got it running properly, it was a real handful to keep it in a straight line, and completely worthless in the snow (I lived in PA at the time). I also had a 1962 Fairlane around that same time that would have been an ideal platform to drop the 430 into, if I had the resources.😉

This is just a well put together truck. Im a chevy guy and im digging on it! I can also respect the originality that was left in it and that he used a ford engine too. The only issue im having is the claim to 400hp, an aluminator is rated at at least 500hp. Plus ive driven a bunch of 3-500hp stuff and this truck seems to get it on to the tune of a couple hundred more horsepower! Just my opinion though! Nice truck!

Nicely done truck that can handle, whole lotta work and $ there. Manual was a good choice, the 10 spd trans are a towtruck bill in the making. Good wheelman piloting that beauty, things get tricky smoking them in higher gears than 1st.

I love this truck!!! I've been wanting to coyote swap a Ford Ranger for a while now,.. I know it's a F100,.. I want to do a newer ranger but I'm afraid I won't be able to get it near 55/45, engine won't go far enough back so this gave me a much better idea.. thanks for the amazing content!!
