I’m a car guy who is not mechanically gifted AT ALL, lol. I can only add or bolt on what others have made...Watching what Chris creates, in his mind first, then as it screams to life, has got to be what people must’ve felt when a master like Leonardo da Vinci was creating the art that he brought to life. I’m genuinely in awe (and jealous as hell) of such imagination, creativity and mechanical ability. Kudos bro, your rides are amazing

A lot of community colleges, adult education places have programs where you learn how to weld and bend, cut, roll metal. If there isn't, read some books and watch u tube. Then try a few small things. It will be amazing how fast you seem to learn how to do new things. Some will suck. Keep it up. I will learn every day until I die

Holy crap, this is really close to the build I've been dreaming of for the last few years. Mine would look more vintage and keep a bit more of an interior, but the whole basic concept of a Galaxie body on a custom race chassis with modern suspension etc., built to tear it up at the track and in the canyons, hits the nail on the head.
@alfredozertuche7849 ай бұрын
I'm not a ford fan but damn that galaxy is mesmerizing just like the real galaxy. The attention to detail I unmatched. His every explanation why every item is placed in a specific position for a specific reason. How everything is there for a reason nothing more nothing less. I'm surprised they didn't say anything about the rear tail hook with yellow and F on ford emblem FU a subtle hint😂😂😂. You are 1 lucky man that is a beautiful car. Im also glad he says we and not i. Shows his appreciation toward his workers and their commitment of making the magnificent vehicle. Along with not taking all the credit for others giving him advice. I also like that he also shows the wall of shame. The best lessons in life are your mistakes in life. It makes you stronger and more resilient in the end. Kudos to this car build you and the team. Look forward to your other builds definitely buying a book. Thank you for showing this to the world truly appreciated.

The little yellow accents on the car are an awesome touch. I love how the tow loop on the rear carries up into the "F" in FORD.

Easter egg - the tow hook makes a "U" so the back of the car quietly says "F U" as sort of a middle finger to expectations that a big car like this doesn't make sense on a race track! Imma do it anyway!

I was almost brought to tears. . . I'll make it short: My dad bought a 63' Wagon, Red..with a 6 cylinder that had a blown engine, the broken rod made a hole in the side of the block... the most anti-cool thing in the world in 1982, I was a senior in high school, and was embarrassed when my friends seen his project, he had bought a welder on a trailer, a behemoth of a monstrosity, he welded it up.. it friggin ran !.. I recall falling for the car when I had seen things like the hood latch, the emblem, amazing. He had made a few hundred bucks on his $50 purchase, I missed that car and bought a 64' Impala wagon, made a wooden console, always said it was lowered but it was stock, worn out and a piece of crap but I loved it, and have had numerous wagons since, currently a Volvo XC70, lowered, and gave my daughter, an 850, Blue with spoiler and chrome wheels, she hated, then loved, now an XC70 .. Love this video, thanks
