Swapping an f430 to manual is cheaper than finding one that is a factory manual (we talking in terms of Ferrari dollars wise). And surprisingly, it doesn't require a new transmission, all of the stuff is there, its just getting the pedal box, shifter, and cables, putting it together, ripping out the old automated system making sure they feel right, and you're done. In fact it's actually preferred bc some parts such as the potentiometer are either discontinued or on backorder, and if that fails you legit just cannot drive your $100,000 Ferrari.

@KITT5 oh ofc it is and idk why you felt like you had to reply twice. My main point was THE PART THAT LETS YOU DRIVE THE CAR IS AND I REPEAT IS ON CONSTANT BACK ORDER. It's one thing if you have to cut into the car to do a manual swap or change the transmission. BUT YOU DON'T THE CAR THE TRANSMISSION ALREADY EVERYTHING BOLTS ONN. Ofc if you want something exotic to modify get a porsche e36 etc and leave the """ferrari perfection"""" as is from the factory. But when the part breaks and it will as Italian cars do. Why not spend the extra money swapping shifter and pedal box to drive your car again.

Not like an Enzo, F40, LaFerrari or anything, which modding like that would be an absolute sin. But either way, if I ever am able to afford something like this, I‘d rather spend it on a Testarossa. They seem to be around the same price if not even a bit cheaper

Fantastic supercar with naturally aspirated screamer and manual gearbox? A dream. F430 is at a great point where the electronics are enough to make the car easy to drive and enjoy but not too complex to have 17 driving modes and all that nonsense

my sister has a 1989 mercedes 190e with 4 gears that can get up to 190kmh (lol, fitting) and you can initiate that 4th gear at like 60kmh. From 60 to 190 without a gear change. When i drove it I was used to having to shift with my 6speed daily diesel, but then I look at the rpm and see how im still at 2000rpm and im in gear 3 out of 4. it's kinda funny

The 430 Scuderia 16M and the 458 Speciale Aperta are my two favourite Ferraris … largely due to those phenomenal high-revving N/A Flat-Plane Crank V8 engine masterpieces. The sound of naturally aspirated V8 engines at revs conveys the feeling of greater speed … same with the F1 cars of yesteryear. Edit : What a beautiful spec of the F430.

The 5 valve (per cylinder) Ferrari's (F355 & 360 Modena) do sound even better. More F1. I had 360 with Tubi Loud and decat. Basically only silencer being the back box. The thing spat flames when exhaust manifold was hot.
