Just a heads up/piece of advice. Follow the break-in period rules. I bought a brand new car from a dealer with a $10k discount. It was discounted because it was formerly a dealership courtesy vehicle. The people who drove it must have treated it like a rental car because it has less than 20k miles and It has had a few problems that could be explained by someone didn't follow break-in procedures.

Of course. The main things during break in, in general, are of course to 1) vary your engine load and RPMs - no using cruise control on the highway and 2) don't drive it hard. For me I was at least going to make sure the engine/oil was up to temp before going near the redline. Since then, 8k miles later, the IS still runs strong.

No the Merc has an AMG Speedshift 7 transmission . Although it is slower than a true dual clutch like in th M3 it is still faster in a straight line.

Hell, I still get a kick out of flooring it in my car. and its a 4dr sedan making 168hp at the crank. 500hp is probably slow compared to other tunes and builds but on the street 500hp is crazy fast. I love the spec you chose, although i haven't really seen a spec i didn't like in the coupe so far.
