As an owner of both the scooters, I want to say that Aprilia although the engine is way more unrefined, is a pretty good scooter. Gives the maxi scooter feel while also having good practicality. Things to note- Low end is just very very lethargic comapred to Aerox or Even acess 125, lot of rusting after just a few months, ignition key spring got loose . But overall love it. Coming to Aerox been owning it for 2 weeks now. I can boldly say this scooter is for the "Shaukees" or someone who is not allowed to have a bike at home but can get a scooter. Lot more aggresive looking and trust me the tyres look monstrous inn real life . The best angle is from the side/rear. Also, not as flickable as normal scooters, needs some body weight to change direction. Engine is super smooth, getting speedo indictaed 42.4kmpl ad rear supsension is not existent it is just so stiff. But acceleration is like nothing else. Also a huge head turner. First service nnot yet done so not explored full potential yet. Also, auto start stop I feel is quite itrusive and this scooter NEEDED a rear disc brake and a bit softer pre load on the rear. Also I dont understand how and why in the video she says ride is jittery on aprilia. Yes it becomes unsettled on continuous bad patches but much much better ride than Aerox.

Hi , I need your one help. I own SXR , wanted to ask do you as well get wrong fuel indication . As sometimes It shows only 2 bars of fuel and I take it to petrol pump and it gets full in 2 litres. It scares me sometime

First, I'm intrigued, what made you buy both scooters? Was it a practicality issue or that you just needed more 2-wheelers? Why not go for a motorcycle? Second, I strongly felt that the ride was jittery. Maybe I was served with more bad patches than you ;|

@@arushirawat4964 hello! "No bikes allowed" stereotype in home. That's why three scooters. Dad also rides one of them so at any time 2 required and one extra if any time one breaks down. 2nd point, I still stick with it. As an owner of both, I feel Aprilia sxr has quite a better ride quality.

The aerox rear suspension is extremely bad and harsh, yamaha have KYB suspension available but its too costly. Anyone planning to buy this vehicle can rethink and take a test ride through some bad terrain and take a decision

Comparing Aprilia to any other scooter brands is like comparing iPhone with Redmi. Other brands may have been success in other countries but do look at the selling prices there. They use cheap material in Indian market variants to keep the price low and to make it affordable for low income Indian people. India is large population country and most people here still ride on two wheelers for daily commute which these companies want to encash whereas in developed countries, they use it for holiday/weekend rides, cars are necessity because of harsh weather conditions. While some companies like Piaggio (Aprilia/Vespa) want to sell quality stuff to fewer people, others (Suzuki/TVS/Hero) want to sell cheap stuff to more consumers.

Braking is not good in aerox. Also plastic quality is so cheap in the aerox Aprilia build is really good. May be the reviewer is bent towards the yamaha.

In long term perspective sxr gonna see the service centre sooner than Aerox and yeah ride quality is much better on Aerox Braking does feel a little bit better on sr not sure about sxr , yeah not confidential as she mentioned Also you won't get unwanted rattles in Aerox

I disagree Aprilia is not jittery it's just high end is not as much as yamaha Second breaking is better in Aprilia u can try it, I wish it had rear disk too then it might have been better,as of now prior breaking is required Third ride quality back suspension is too stiff for gorcerry hehehe it's meant to be red lined 🤣 I don't think any girl would love it except she is a bike lover for boys it's good

Aerox do have grab rails but its under the rear side of seat. Nonetheless it can be a little bit uncomfortable when the rider accelerate out of nowhere. Believe my one idiot friend does that quite alot on his ntorq and it scares tf out of me. Never sitting behind him ever again, my butt accidentally slipped and i was abt to fall off the scooter. A U-shaped full size is very much needed to support your lower body in powerful scooters/motorcycles. :'(

Granted the SXR is overpriced and lacks the oomph factor of the Aerox , but the reviewer not leaving the Yamaha's side even when talking about the Aprilia doesnt inspire confidence. Plus they arent even the same class. The Aerox is a sporty scooter and the Aprilia is just a premium entry level scooter , not a Maxi...

(-Minus, because getting on it bike-style, might not be everyone's cup of tea, space for luggage and/or rider's legs. +Plus, because the fuel tank positioning makes it very feasible at the pump. I cannot give all this information without even mentioning it once that the Aerox has a flat floor bed. Even if it is visible to the naked eye. Absolutely, there's ample information about both products, but the comparison between them is the first of many. Also, they are maxi-scooters, serving nearly the same agendas but built differently because the industry is not vanilla XD
