Beautiful clear waters, I used to live not far from Duluth/Superior. Loved the area. Thank you for sharing such gorgeous sights.

I don't usually like these type of videos that you've put out. But this one seem to be different. I really liked it. Can't wait to see what comes out next!

Some pretty dang artful and peaceful cinema work there, friend. I love the U.P., and northern Michigan in general. I don't get there very much anymore, it's God's country over there for sure. Safe paddles!

if you paddle that river around the 4th of July or any weekend with really hot weather it's just drunk kids everywhere. makes it interesting trying to avoid them. just chaos. and they may have been looking at you strange because that river mouth can produce one of the worse rip currents in the world. students from Michigan Tech come down to study it on a regular basis I guess.

Been thinking about this river lately. Back in the early 90’s my uncle took my cousin and I on a trip down the river. It was some sort of poker run from a bar. Think it was called froggy’s bar. Anyway we ended up in Lake Superior and it was not very calm. Trying to turn that canoe around was interesting 😅.

My parents have had a cabin on the lake for 40 years. The Autrain River is 16.8 miles yet if you walked from the shore of the mouth of the river to Lake Superior, you'd only go about 1.5 miles. That's how winding that river really is.

Beautiful up there, I recently read that the Munising area of the UP is quickly becoming a hot tourist area too. What size canoe did you take up there?
@davidspassage8 жыл бұрын
I believe this was a 14' canoe. It was included in the cabin we rented along the river.

Do you think it would be deep enough to do on a paddle board?

Be careful on what day you go. We went this Saturday and it was party central. We had fresbees being thrown over our heads , there must have been a hundred people just being wild. I would not go on a weekend. It's not as quiet as it once was was
