The count down is on for the snow! Very soon, the ground will be covered in a blanket of white snow & the rivers that we travel to access our off grid remote cabin in ALASKA will be frozen over. Next time we visit the cabin will be on snow machines! Join us for a beautiful fall wknd at our little cabin in the woods. The fall colors in Alaska are stunningly gorgeous. I enjoy the slow downs where I get to enjoy my favorite guys, eat good food & breathe in the crisp, cool Alaskan air. Thanks for joining us for another video, cheers!

I would have given ANYTHING to sleep on the floor of a cabin, vs a tent when camping. Those boys are in heaven and sleeping on the floor in a thick sleeping bag is perfectly fine!

When I saw 2 meals that Kellon was eating with ketchup he made my day! I love ketchup on my fried potatoes. He reminded me so much of my son because he literally would have a little bit of hash browns/fried potatoes with half of a bottle ketchup. LOL it was so precious watching you clean the house and take stuff out to the generator room. He is so sweet and precious. He loves all of you so very much. He is caring and so helpful.

The reason why the outhouse doesn't stink is because of the exhaust pipe that goes up the side from underneath the seat platform... at least that's my theory 😊

As a child, if you never slept on the floor or ground you missed an important fun part of growing up. When sleeping on the floor/ground, your bed (or pallet) would consist of 3, 4, or 5 thick quilts or blankets and pillow. It never considered a bad thing, adults always slept in the bed and kids on the floor. What a fun memory!

One on one… I don’t remember my kids feeling hurt about staying home…. Both your children had one on one time…and looked like they enjoyed! Enjoy your days… what a life to lead!…

First Tina, how are you feeling? Love the remote cabin. Parker's hunting trip reminds me of my kids started hunting at age 10 scary at first but, they did well. Maybe next time they'll get something. The probably have the outhouse vented that's why no stink? Question are you thinking of putting in a pulley system at the cabin for the summer it's got to be tiring carrying stuff up that hill. Seriously Tina, you should do a video of your outtakes they're hilarious. 😂 Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲

Wow! Look at Joe, yes looks like Tarzan. 😃 had to look at that twice. 😃😃😃🤣 Love the music you put to your videos. Suits them perfectly. So nice to see a family playing together and not just lookin at a screen on TV, laptop, phone etc. Your remote cabin is perfect. You will need a bedroom addition when the boys get older…😮 We once had a remote cabin up in northern Maine and Fall was the best time of year to go there. It was on a small lake. Sure do miss that cute place with so many families of loons. Spent a lot of time there just making it more livable each time we went. We had a hand pump for our water coming from an Artisan well, loved it, also we had a wood cooking stove that heated the entire cabin upstairs and down. Loved cooking on that. Sorry no moose but as you said, it was such a bonding time out there alone. Love it! And looks like you and Kellen had a nice time puttering around while they were gone. I also love organizing things. Thanks for flying our Red White and Blue! True Americans. Proud here!

Back in the day a remote cabin in AK was never locked for fear someone would need inside in freezing weather or some other emergency. The rule was that if one used someone's cabin they were to replenish anything they used. I guess times have changed with the decades gone since I lived there. Once, we had gone snowmobiling outside Hope and were caught in a blizzard and severely falling temps. We did use someone's cabin to keep the children warm. A week later we returned and replaced everything we used and then some. Thank God for that cabin that night.

Our phone number is in the window if someone needs in we can give them the code. Other than that…unfortunately this isn’t the world we used to live in. It’s full of dishonest thieves that would trash the place. Even up here in AK. So there’s no way I’m leaving it unlocked. I agree with you & it’s sad that we can’t trust people anymore.🤍🤍

I wish a long extended dock was at the shore line in front of the cabin because it would be so easy to park the boat right there. I believe there is a company that sells floating docks that extends far out into the water. Those docks are made with a material that's resistant to rot, and is built and made for situations like an extended entry to the shoreline. The water plants would have to be cut below the water for the boat to have easy excess to the dock. I bet there are fish in and around those plants too! A wide floating dock would be a great place to catch fish. peace family.

You guys should get the long range walkie talkie’s for when Joe and the boys go out like that again since there’s no cell service.
