I like when the dogs were looking up to the attic/loft. It's like they either wanted to join the kids up stairs or they wanted the kids to come down to play. It's a joy watching you all. A suggestion for hauling gear up from the river... rig up a horizontal pulley system where 1 end hooks up to a loaded sled or wagon, run the cable thru a pulley attached to the house or a nearby post or tree, and the other end of the cable to the snow machine (or a 4-wheeler in summer). Drive the machine down the hill to pull the sled or wagon up. Maybe you can even rig a hanging basket type of system. I can just picture Kellan and Parker creating luge-style runs at both the home cabin & the remote cabin as they get older to create a more exciting sledding experience! 🛷🛷🛷

All it took was getting out there with the boys, getting settled in and just like that, you all made it feel like home away from home. I love that Parker fed the grey jays. I see he attempted to feed them out of his hand. They will come if he puts the first food in his hand and raising it above his head, it won't take long for them to land on his hand for food, hope he gives it a try next time you all are out there again. I was wondering how many times they went up and down the hill while sledding, that's a long sled ride down and even longer heading back up, so so fun. It's so awesome seeing them sledding from above, way cool. I'm looking forward to Part 2. Thank you for sharing your family and adventures with us, sure look forward to seeing your next video.

Never apologize for being moved to tears when seeing so much natural beauty that was created by God. I was in Alaska in Sept. 2017 and tears were always flowing, especially on the Denali train ride! You have talked about Joe being from Arizona, well, I am born and raised in Yuma and if Joe has ever been to Yuma, then he knows we have lots of desert, sand, and some farmlands and citrus groves. So for this Desert Rat to see so many huge, majestic, breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS, clear running rivers (not muddied shallow Colorado River), turquoise waters, wildlife, SWANS, and did I mention WATER, LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER? People kind of looked at me kind of weird because I would be smiling ear-to-ear and crying at the same time, but I didn't care. They would have never understood. The second thing I have to mention is, did anyone else notice at breakfast that all four picked and started eating bacon before anything else? LOL!!! My first thought was, "Yep! That's a family that puts bacon first! LOL!! Now I am anxious to see if you all try ice fishing in the lake, since it is right there. KEEP HAVING FUN AND MAKING WONDERFUL MEMORIES!

Loved every minute of this vlog and excited to see more. My uncle ran a pipe into house from outside had running water from the spring/well. Bath outside in summer & winter. There's a solar water bag shower devise u can get hook up. Also warm water put in that tub. We used a troth. Had a plug to let water out. No mess bathing outside. Joe get a mill hook to saw make your own boards for floor etc make a bath house onto out house.

Connie! You crack me up. Most definitely not orbs!😂 They’re actually dust bunnies lol. For some of the clips at night, I use my iPhone to film because it has the flash for light. Any of the clips where you can see the dust in the air…I’m using my iPhone to film!☺️

My grandson's name is Parker and we call my oldest granddaughter P.... Your channel is the first one that I look for when I turn YT on. I just admire your family. Thank you for that comment!! And has for the outhouse I wouldn’t use it at night either I’d be too scared. It is beautifully kept though with the pictures and all.
