This is turning out to be a real success...kids, wet weather and no TV... but a great weekend had by all. Brave souls. Lol. How did the 'munchies go down after the chilling? Loved the sneaky eats whilst doing the preparation for the munchies....

So kind Dawn! Ah the kids loved the Rocky Road, so did we adults 😀. They love making and crafting things so seemed a nice one to do with them, plus it's super easy to do. Thanks for following along, Part 3 out tomorrow evening. Andy

Always look forward to your videos as they show what families should really be doing. Spending time together and having fun ! Without the TV is even better !! Great music on this too.

Thanks Iain ,we had a lot of fun and playing cards with Finn was great. Not sure we'd manage much longer than a couple of nights away without TV, maybe we should try it over Christmas 😂

I like that site, stayed there a couple of years ago when we had a tent. We pitched opposite the park. It's a beautiful walk in to Stourport, passing the private moorings. We plan to stay there again soon, only this it in our caravan. Love you videos, looking forward to the next one.

We have been to that site it was lovely and a nice walk into town. We got a puncture there in the motorhome and had to call the AA out to change it. It was full of Wolves fans which was the only downer ,lol

Very pleased the no tv worked and shame on you not using van showers before. Next off grid please
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Yes the no TV was great and we all managed without, which was good to see. Something we'll take into this year and try and encourage more. Ah well the shower thing, the shower in the Elddis is a wet room and I don't fancy showering with a shower curtain sticking to you the whole time... Off grid is definitely on the to-do list this year! Thanks for watching. Andy

Really enjoyed this episode Andy and shows how much family fun can be had without electricals! you'll need to teach us that card game you were playing, looks a goodun Site looks great too and bet that rally field would be ace in the summer to get everyone around. Not sure how much Bruno liked his shower though :-) Jon

Great video as ever guys. Good to see going back to basic families doing things together. With regards to Bailey Caravans do you no constitution of floor and if it is still wood. I no that the swift is full fibre glass. Good to see reviews internally and have watched many videos from shows but it's good to no if it going to last. The floor of a caravan is the most exposed and the first thing to rot away, I had a caravan 5yrs old floor gone 2011 model. Any way guys keep on caravanning all the best.

Hi Neil, thanks for your comment. We had great fun making this video and really pleased how it has come out and of course been received. So many lovely comments. In answer to your question, I don't know and haven't been able to quickly find out. I will endeavour to find out - probably put it in the description of Part 5, the review video. Thanks for watching. Andy

MakeWayWithTheMorleys sorry for spelling mistake Andy but you may of understood it's meant construction,, Just one other thing is I don't no if you have ever noticed that when you remove the fridge vents on most caravans and probably motor homes. There's a removable plastic water drain container. This is just pushed onto a pipe with a small 8mm plastic exhaust pipe. Every time on all the caravans I have owned including Bailey Valencia I fixed a 10mm copper tube to the plastic container and silicon. This allowed water from the fridge to vent to the floor outside. This isn't a big job, but if you don't do it you might as well chuck a mug of water behind there every time you turn on the fridge. On average amount of the water would of otherwise just spilled behind the fridge onto the floor?. Next time you use your caravan just remove the fridge vents and just see how much water is there. All the best

Another great video there. It's useful even though we been away for a year and a bit in the van seeing little ideas for the children. See you are now using an M50 do you think it was worth the outlay for it?
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much , well hopefully we've given you some ideas! Yeah I love the M50, the image quality is a big upgrade I think. Don't get me wrong, the best camera is always the one that is always with you and is charged up! Thanks for watching. Andy

Enjoyed the video as ever Andy, once again grateful thanks for taking the time to do these vlogs , I know the time involved and I for one appreciate all your hard work. Interested in your collapsible “aqua roll “. As a regular user Of fully serviced sites I have the float mech for my aqua roll but at the end of the day you still have to cart a 40 litre plastic tub around. Where did you get the small device you had in the video? Thanks again and Happy Christmas to all the family Howard
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Cheers Howard, this series has been a pleasure to put together and the response has been brilliant. I have to say though, I'm looking forward to the Christmas break and not getting up at 5am to get an hour and a half's worth of editing done in the morning before work! There's a link in the description as to where you can find more information and indeed buy a Fresh Mini kit. This is something I've had an input in developing along with fellow KZbinr Dan Trudgian. Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year! All the best, Andy

sorry in advance for being stupid, but do you take the extra pipe/ hosepipe with you or are they part of the hire charge?
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Colin, no need to apologise. You'll need to take pipe with you, I use PVC pipe as shown in the video as water drains better and it has some rigidity. Also, if you buy two lengths of different diameter you can alter the length without using a hacksaw!
