Hi Catherine, your wreath looks beautiful, when my house was more neutral colors I tended and still do stick to white and creamy pumpkins in the house. I do make a lot of fabric pumpkins and I go more bright on my covered front porch. With real pumpkins we get from the apple picking farm. I hope you are doing ok, I know you suffered a huge loss with your Mum. I just lost one of my golden retrievers to cancer and I know it’s not the same as losing your Mum, but it’s still heartbreaking as she was my family. I send lots of love and hugs to you 😘😘❤️

It's still in the triple digits here in the southwest of the US, but we have decorated for Fall inside and out. I have my cinnamon wax melts in a lovely new wax melter, so our home always smells amazing. This weekend we will be decorating for Halloween, not only because we enjoy the fun of it, but also because of our yearly Halloween party for family and friends. I love autumn 🍂 😊 Not halloween. But the beauty of the colors, the scents, the crisp air, sweaters, wrappers everything. I agree with you about pumpkin candles 🫢. I love "Make life Exclusive, the king candle collection.. FIREWOOD" OMG it smell just like a real wood campfire. Their made with wooden wicks, so you even hear the crackle of the wood burning. I put my autumn things up Sept 1 and they stay till Dec for then it's Christmas.

I love seasonal decorations, but avoid buying anything because lack of storage space. My autumnal decorations are usually real mini pumpkins (which then get cut up later in the season,and used in soups or casseroles) I also use real leaves with rich colours around candles, pine cones. They can look so pretty, but then used up. Love your video, you are so creative.

I love seasonal decor and decorate for every season (minimal though). All my pumpkins I made myself. It´s so easy. I have different fabric ones, some are knitted, some are croched. I once bought a leather jacket and it smelled so bad. I couldn´t get the smell out - so I made myself a pumpkin out of it. Your wreath is wonderful! Hugs from Germany 🍂🍁🍂

There's just something special about Autumn 🍂! I live near the Smoky mountains and Appalachia areas in Tennessee, USA. We have a huge festival when all the foliage turns colors❤! People come all over the country to see it. When I was growing up it was called the Fall Color Cruise. And for 9 days, Chattanooga had a huge arts and crafts show. My Memom (grandma) would always have a booth to sell her crafts and my Daddy would take her with all us kids to camp out there ❤. Wonderful times. Thank you for reminding me of this and for all you do. I really appreciate it.

Beautiful wreath. You made it look so easy. I used to do autumn decorating about the start of Oct. and then later add in some Halloween things when I had a big house, but not now. The second most annoying thing about Hallmark movies, after the required "plot twist" 15 mins. before the ending kiss, is the abundance of artificial flowers. I find it so unnatural and distracting. There is almost always wisteria. The nice clothes and coats are the big draw for me. I was in NY once on a very hot summer day when they were filming an ice skating scene in Central Park for the movie Serendipity, I believe. Sometimes it works. Happy autumn.

I want to get my porch all decked out for fall but I can't because we are having an extended summer.. most days are still reaching 30 degrees, so it's still very hot. Which is definitely not how it was when I was growing up. I feel that we have lost spring and fall. We just go from winter to hot summers. I do enjoy 4 seasons! Currently, all my summer planters are still very much thriving and all my gardens are still blooming. Anyways, those are called pine cones. They come in a few different shapes and varieties here in Canada and they are really nice looking and not to mention that there are so many crafty ways to use them.
