Love to try this in your opinion do you think orange or yellow would be ok for background?

Hi Cindy, I don’t think that yellow or orange would be dark enough a background colour for the raindrop effect to work.

Have you tried this in reverse? Placing your rain drops or other designs onto the dark and then the mica and then the clear? I'm not sure why it wouldn't work but just wondered 😊

Hi Nancy, if you pour the clear last it tends to get contaminated by the mica and does not come out as crystal clear as you’d like, whereas the black conceals any dislodged mica that may be floating in the soap.
