I love your relaxed tour! It made me feel like I was walking along with you all. Perfectly delightful, and impressive how many names, Latin or otherwise, that you both do remember! What gorgeous gardens at anytime of the year, so I can't wait for the winter edition. Of course spring and summer will be even more spectacular. I look forward to the outdoor decorations for Christmas too. Thank you for inviting me to your tour!

Enjoyed the garden tour so much! I wonder if the tulip tree was meant to be a magnolia - which some people here call a tulip tree. In the aerial views, it does appear a bit overwhelmingly large for that part of the garden. I do love the cat. I look forward to the next tour!

I've been looking forward to the autumn tour. May I suggest, I'd love to see the Countess visit "wild" Gardens of note with her grandson and then, together implement these lessons in a new garden at Mapperton. It'd tie to the Wilding theme of his videos.

The deformation on the Euphobia at 13:45 is called fasciation (sometimes also cristation), it is quite common particularly in Euphorbia and caused by pathogens, hormonal problems or mutations. In itself fasciation is nothing to worry about though, it usually only occurs in on part of the plant, or in case of a mutation in a single plant. That is a lovely autumn garden you´ve got there, i´d recommend replacing the citrus though, with better varities and on rootstocks that are optimal for container cultivation. With a orangery like that, you can get quite a decent crop of citrus, from a few plants of the right varities with the right care and the great thing about most citrus is, you don´t have to pick them when they are ripe, they will stay fresh for many month on the plant until you pick them. Best regards, a fellow gardener from germany.

Throughly enjoyed the garden tour by the Duchess. Beautiful gardens. So surprised to see roses and iris in bloom. Some of Suzi's plantings reminded me of a tapestry. Interesting to hear of her plans for future plantings. . Of course I enjoyed seeing the Virginia creeper and American magnolia tree. What a giant! I grew up in Delaware, have lived in Texas for decades. I believe that treacherous yucca plant is sometimes called a Spanish Dagger. Best of luck to Steve in his new endeavors.
