It makes me so sad to see her crying like that. Autumn so brave. I hate having blood work done. Autumn still my favorite I'm glad that her dad got to hold her while she was getting it done. I think it helped a little. ❤❤❤❤

I got my blood too!!!!!and its doesn’t hurt and I was so brave and calm😇!It was like couples months ago!!I was 13 and young!But now I’m 14 and teenager and older!!Almost 15 in October 24th on Tuesday in 3 months!!!!!I am growing up so fast!I’m a brave and strong girl❤!!You did amazing Autumn!

I have an intellectual disability as well and I don’t like blood drawn too but with hypothyroidism I have to and I don’t like anything that has to do with needles and today I got my flu shot and Covid booster I usually turn my head to look at in the distance to distract me

autumn still did a good job! im autistic too and even though i know what blood tests are and what they’re for, i hate getting them and they make me super anxious. same with vaccinations but at least with them they last a fraction of a second. getting your blood drawn takes quite a while so i don’t blame her for being upset

Awww….Autumn, I feel ya. I thought she did great. It’s been the last year or 18 mos that Murphy hasn’t been upset about blood draws. She still hates the blood pressure cuff. I so understand where you all coming from. We have had to papoose her during dental checks. I love watching your videos. I get ideas from you. Love!!❤️❤️

Autumn you are supergirl. Your parents are superparent I wish someone could told us that info when are children was younger His on autism spectrum and intellectual disability. When he gets any shots he would bite the person and kick them. 70% of time they won't do him. In his life time he only be able do 5 blood tests. Now his 19year old. He still scared. whenever autumn requests a smaller needle it may hemolyze the blood sample and be rejected the needle shouldn’t be smaller than 25g

I had to have my blood test today and i hated it. The trick is to keep your eyes closed and consentrate on breathing or talking. their is nothing more worse than having to get a blood draw on one arm if they could not get it than switch to another. its awful!

Yes, it’s painful but I think the hardest part is that cognitively she doesn’t understand why she is getting her blood drawn. So it’s scary for Autumn to come to a place where they inflict pain.
