Ah, my home turf. Been hiking, swimming, biking, and later cross-country skiing those trails for decades. My favorite was early summer, the flowers in bloom, headed up Cardiac Hill to Lake Awosting and not being able to pedal all the way. It's even a difficult walk. But by the end of summer rolling all the way, I knew I was in good shape, with my lunch and a book at lake side. Always wanted to bike back to the Mud Pond, but that is not allowed, only foot traffic.

If you have the time to explore it Terry the Shawangunk ridge provides some of the best gravel, road, and mountain biking this state has to offer, I should know I have been living here exploring the region from Sams point down to rosendale for the last year and a half. It is a special place. Admittedly I have never ventured to mud pond and verkeedilll falls on my bike but it is enjoyable to hike there after biking on carriage roads for a bit.

Lead rider is entering the corners too early and with too much speed. Which puts him out too wide at the exit (early exit) Remember Radius determines speed.Angle and radii will ultimately have a maximum speed. Consequently, he is scrubbing off way too much to make up for the mistakes. Got to say, a bit sloppy. Surprising actually. He is usually a better bike handler. But great video, love the scenery and colors. Remember, cornering is really about Exit speed "Slow-er in Fast-er out" -KR
