I love that walk to Watendlath; the first time we did it, we did the descent in the pouring rain and those steep steps were bloody terrifying - so slippery! It's beautiful when it's not raining, though! x

Such a cozy and relaxing vlog! I would love to have a holiday in the Lake District and to stay at a place with a fireplace where I could hopefully spend lots of time reading as well as unwinding and going for walks. I recently hauled A Dance of Fate as well and I have loved all of Juliet's previous books that I've read. Looks like it was a lovely holiday! That tea and those cakes look delicious!

A lovely vlog of your holiday. I know that cottage very well. Many, many years ago the Daily Mail had a give away and the big prize was that cottage. I use to live off the side of the big field in front of the cottage on the way up to Silver Howe. There is no better place in England than the Lakes.
