Today I went and visited a staple for every Orange County native’s childhood. The Irvine Regional Rail Park, better known as the Irvine Park Railway operates trains daily in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. They offer a beautiful scenic 15 minute ride through the park, around beautiful lakes filled with ducks, past forests and on a typical train service you will come across tons of peacocks and other wildlife. During the fall we see the pumpkin patches appear and tons of festivities to come and check out. In the winter we see the Christmas Special train come out operating night services through beautiful Christmas lighten trees through winter wonderland making a stop at the North Pole to see Santa! Spring offers a beautiful service with tons of flowers and the most wildlife you will see compared to any other season, and you will get to meet the Easter bunny and egg hunts are not uncommon!
Today we visit during the beautiful fall season, with the blissful leaves dropping from the rustic trees above and with great lighting it was a perfect day to film.
N.H Underhill is a couple decade old steam locomotive. It has been servicing the route since it’s existence. It’s numbering is 285. As it shows it’s age we should expect funding for the first new locomotive ever to go underway within the coming years. Enjoy the peaceful scenery and amazing shots I got while visiting this amazing park.
