Hello, I’m from America and I think either autumn or winter is my favorite season. Anyways, I’m currently alone, pulling an all-nighter. I have to go home for winter break as my dorm is kicking me out, I’ve finished Al my preparations an hour early and felt this sense of serene loneliness. It was comforting, but I got bored fast. Seeing this video, and the length brought smiles to my face. I’m halfway through now and would like to thank you Haru for providing comforting content during a small, lonely time. This was just what I needed and I feel that I’ve reached a small sense of peace in this time. So thank you, and have a good day!

Hello, Haru! I’m from the Philippines and I’ve been wanting to go to Japan for a really long time now, even just a few days in there would make me really happy. I would explore so many places and so many sites of filming locations that I’ve been wanting to visit. Your videos are really great, it gives me a nice feeling and it strengthens my drive and determination to go to Japan one day. I do hope that you will keep making videos that are as nice as this one and the other videos that you made. ❤

In the end, we watched it all at one go because the scenery was amazing! You did such a marvelous job capturing the amazing colours of autumn! It was visually stunning! 😊😊We find it so great that you take time to enjoy every small moment, and have such self-effacing humour too😂😂We hope to visit Japan one day.

Hi, Haru! I've been watching your videos recently and I must say that all of them are wonderfully made. I sometimes feel like I'm visiting a part of a long-lost memory watching your videos even though I've never been to (nearly) all the places you've shown in your videos 😅 I need to leave a comment to thank you after watching this video as this particular video brings me to tears after seeing all the pretty autumn scenery (My favorite season is autumn since it is not too hot or too cold). I'm also planning to pursue a degree in Kyoto (hopefully) and your videos helped me so much to learn about amazing things I can enjoy there aside from my academic routines. Thank you for making all this so we can see how beautiful Kyoto is, and best of luck in your academic and daily activities!

Hello Haru, Happy New Year! I just came across your channel as I am planning my trip back to Japan this sakura season for two weeks. I was just in Japan spring 2024 but the sakuras were late to bloom. I did see some but not as much as I hoped for. I think this year 2025 will be late too. I would love to visit during the autum season and my dream is to stay longer so I dont miss it. The maple and gingko trees are just beautiful. Winter in Japan is beautiful but Im worried about the cold. The summer, while hot, offers many brautiful things too. Japan is just so beautiful regardless of season. I look forward to your other videos and will definitely take some of your suggestions.

Hello, it seems I'm one of the many Americans here haha. This was a delightful video! I've been dreaming of visiting Japan for a vacation. It looks so beautiful and I would love to learn more about your culture. I find it fascinating. I hadn't thought of it before, but Kyoto would be the perfect place to visit! All of the places in the video looked stunning. Plus, as a student of Haiku, being able to visit Kyoto where master likes Bashō and Buson once traveled would be very surreal and an honor to visit! Instead of taking pictures I would write many haiku. Thank you for this lovely video!

First, this was just plain beautiful. Don't worry about the lighting, it looked wonderful. I heard from a friend back in the 60s who complimented me on my photos and wanted to know what kind of camera I had because hers came out fuzzy or blurred and she was sure that it was the 'cheap' Instamatic. I showed the letter to my father who was a professional portrait photographer and asked him how I should answer. Well, he was proud of my photos and the compliment. Then he said to just say Thank You and not mention that, at the time, all I had was a 'stupid' Instamatic! Remember, it is the photographer and feeling not the equipment...you really do have the feeling and it shows in your photos. Second, I am from Michigan. At times, watching this, it hurt my heart a little. We are a beautiful State and have more to offer than many think. However, I can tell you that your prediction is perfectly right. I loved our 4 seasons. Now, we have 2. But I have the memories of our traditions during Autumn. Every year (it was October/November for us), we would look forward to that one perfect weekend when the family would drive through the countryside and look at all the beautiful leaves. They looked just like yours. And then we would go to the Cider Mill. I never got tired of our apple trees, walking through the press room and ending in the café to have just-made hot cider with a cinnamon stick (or plain) and hot apple pie. I think you would have loved that part of walking through the trees (we have maple, oak and evergreens...yes, Christmas Tree Farms...and the beautiful trees with apples. And, like the soup, fresh hot apple cider and apple pie. Haru, this was a beautiful trip and you used all the right words of what it is truly like to be in the trees as they are changing. Thank you so much.
