Stunning and wonderful! Our first Autumn experience was in Seoul South Korea. This will be our 2nd Autumn experience. And I'm glad that we are going to see Kyoto in its Peak Foliage Season this coming week. I can't wait! How long is the best viewing period last? Like after Peak Colors, how long will the leaf falls to the ground?

Thank you for your comment. If you visit next week, the autumn leaves at Nanzen-ji Temple are likely to still be at their peak. There is variation in the colors within the temple grounds, so you can expect to see many trees turning bright red next week. Looking at Kyoto as a whole, this year seems to be a bit later than usual, with many temples and shrines reaching their peak from late November to early December. まさに素晴らしい景色ですね。今が紅葉の最盛期という感じです。30年程前、私も今頃の季節に三門に上がって辺りを見下ろしたことを思い出しました。その頃は今のようにビデオはなかったため写真に撮りました。石川五右衛門の「絶景かな絶景かな」という有名なセリフがありますね。撮影大変ありがとうございました。
