@@LucasBrar YOU feel inspired because YOU ARE A GREAT GUITARIST... and GREAT doesn’t even begin to describe your profoundly unbelievable skills. As such, you know that no matter what is being played by another guitarist you can play it 100 times better. The rest of us normal guitarists just feel like crap… honestly, you are an absolute pleasure to watch and listen to - you are musical perfection! And now that I have lit my guitars on fire, I don’t feel so bad about myself when I watch you. 😉

I'd love to know if you ever got it down, singing and playing 'Smells Like Teen Spirit?' I have been working on that song on and off for the last year or so, (more off than on,) and I find that it is a little more on the challenging side because of the way that the vocal rhythm interacts with the strumming pattern.

I kind of would like to disagree here. I personally am a bit more of a roots style and he's trying too hard to change it and sound like Tarrega. It's a tough technique to master sure but that just does not go well with what the original song should be. Gotta say that the lv 9 and 10 and the super secret level was great though and I can agree with all the choice made

That’s what guitar kinda is, these skills are personalized developments, improvements of self. I love it and see guitar as a real expression of emotion. It’s not complicated, it’s expressing the full extent of someone’s emotions, the other stuff is just to make it sound nicer to other people.

All jazz standards are frameworks in which musicians can bring their own interpretation knowing that the other musicians are all working towards the same end. Music is a language. Jazz is a dialect of that language. You can say things in many ways but as long as they make the same point, you are on key.
