A lot of people are talking shit & do not understand what's going on here. All those guys are great players. One of the shit talkers even talk about the guys trying to play like Django. seriously? Have you even ever heard Django? Upload some videos of you shit talkers on and let's laugh a little bit.

The others are trying to work with Martin, and play like Jango, but they haven’t quite mastered his stunning lightening scale passages.

Eugene seems like a rock and roll guitarist trying to play jazz, lacks the fitness and feel. It's not about how many notes you play, it's what the notes convey.

This is just a stylistic thing I think. You hear the same thing from guys like Pat Metheny and John Scofileld but because of their names people would not make the same comment.

No, just no. Some nice comping and that's all I have to say that's positive. All the worst aspects of jazz guitar are on display here. The soloing is self indulgent (well, it is jazz), and mostly rather corny. It does start to cook around 8 minutes in. There are also some problems with either tuning or intonation. They are very accomplished players, but this is not the best showcase for their talents. Apologies, if I stepped on anyone's corns.
