Absolutely first class genius playing. First time I’ve heard Nando. Got to say I’m impressed. Like the first time I saw Martin live with Stéphane Grappelli, really nice guy too, gave me a signed CD at musical exchanges in Birmingham. The most talented guitarist I’ve ever seen live. I’ve seen a few, Barney Kessel, George Benson, Robben Ford, Frank Gambale loads others but there’s something about Martin Taylor when he’s on form, you can hear it in this playing. The emotional content is enthralling.

Simply gorgeous. Martin plays so soulfully it grabs at the heart. I love the tone of Nando’s Guitar with the F holes, a nice warmer version of the regular gypsy tone. Anyone know who made This wonderful instrument. On a side note, Martin’s playing always brings a lump to my throat As he was the last gig I got to take my lovely mum to before she past. Having met Martin with the late great Ike Issacs Many years ago it is a time I will NEVER forget.

Good Luck lol I can't get them to listen to one minuet without boring them. And if they heard the whole beautiful melodic "message" from these talented men till the end? Who knows anymore lol
@jamiemorgan41462 жыл бұрын
Wrong! That’s the best way to turn them off. Whenever you force someone, they will become negative towards it. Just play it without discussion, they’ll hear it. These days though. Kids are being pushed into anything stupid and purely garbage. Peer pressure and society tells them cRap and hip slop is so cool. Our arts are Doomed.
@jankafka73302 жыл бұрын
"Every child should be sat down and made to listen to this." What an incredibly stupid and callous statement. Is there anything else you believe children should be forced to do? "It is sublime music and musicianship which transports you to another era." It is what it is and nothing more. You might like it, you might not, and there's nothing wrong with either path. While I appreciate the technique and mastery of the language, the music is not quite my cup of tea. I'm neither better nor worse than someone who adores this sort of thing on account of taste. "Simply gorgeous and it makes me want to practice more!" Maybe you should spend some time doing some soul-searching. Maybe steer clear of the fascist tendencies...
