After printing with fresh leaves on the gel plate, i saved them. After the paint dried, but before they wilted, i pressed them in books. They hold up better with the paint on them and can be added to collage as well. The metallics are especially lovely.

Ceri i like how you followed the veining of the leaf on one to show the color potential of the leaf from painted media and then to contrast it you did it with patterns and other markings... lovely results sir... thank you so much for sharing your gift.

Those leaves were absolutely gorgeous Ceri, they would look so good in a nature journal. I have heard you can use a white out pen instead of a paint marker but I think you'd have to be careful with your asthma because I'm pretty sure they would have a strong smell. Thanks again for another fun video. 😃

Off to go picking leaves, I've been raking them for a month haha. I have some as big as my shoe so I'll need a big book to press them. All of them were so pretty, I liked the little oak leaf best I think but all were amazing.
