This such a beautiful painting and you worked a lot on this. You and your husband John are so patient and pleasant to watch and listen too. I’ve watched you for years now and 80% of the time is just so you keep me company. I have you many of your techniques though for other paintings that I have done. Thank you so much for being there. ❤❤❤

Hi Cinnamon and Jon! 👋 Can’t believe it’s been over a year since I met you at the retreat meet and greet in PA. Time goes by so quickly, wish I could have gone to Ann Arbor, but already made plans for a different vacation before it was announced. I’m finally getting back to painting after a few months, it’s finally getting cooler in CT, and of course I’m starting fall paintings and I started this late tonite. I also started the gothic crow and witchy cat from last year, the backgrounds are similar and easier for me to get the backgrounds done 1st. I know I’m rambling, but just wanted to let you both know I’ve been thinking of you both, very glad you are doing well Cinnamon, hope you are doing well also John, and that you’re not in pain as much because of your back. Also thinking of your daughter Honey, as well as your 2 younger children. Sending lots of hugs 🤗 and love ❤ to you both and to let you know how much your lessons are appreciated. 🥰🥰🥰

I have major anxiety bursts some days i just wake up with it, and your videos help me alot. Just listening to them, even not painting just have them on like someone is talking when im home alone during the day and my kids are at school. One question, how do you get your paint to not dry out while you paint, the blobs of paint you put out, mine seems to dry out, might mine be too old then?

I NEED HELP PAINTING STRAIGHT LINES, TREE TRUNKS ETC. I CAN'T GET THEM TO LOOK LIKE ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR FAT BLOBBY MESS. I USUALLY END UP GOING BACK AND TRYING TO PAINT THE BACKGROUND TO GIVE IT A BETTER SHAPE. WHICH ENDS UP BEING ANOTHER SHAKY BLOBBY LINE. I TRY USING A THINNER BRUSH. I TRY USING LESS PAINT. THEN IT IS A THINNER BLOBBY (THINK REVERSE TAPER AND ARTHRITIC JOINTS WHICH RUN OUT OF PAINT) HELP!! THANKS, THIS REALLY HOLDS ME BACK FROM BEING A BETTER PAINTER.

Why do my paintings always seem to come out so much darker than yours?
@TheArtSherpaАй бұрын
That sounds like colorshift to me. That is when some acrylic paint darkens as it dries. If yours looks closer to mine when it wet but after it dries it seems a shade darker that could be it. All acrylic does this to some degree but some paints do it really bad

??? Cinnamon, you mentioned that your canvas was 11 x 14, yet in the description, it says 8x 8.

Is it cheating to use acrylic pens for the fine lines 🤣🤣
@ekerrigan1978Ай бұрын
Acrylic pens...sounds like your own artistic touch. Go for it!
