I love this tutorial featuring your ‘work arounds’. Making your students to think of what to do. The mini drawing lesson was a great bonus too. I don’t know that it was all planned out, or just off the cuff as things happen, But it was so true to the process! Thank you for all you do!!🤗💕

I did 4 seasons on a 2 man saw blade. Using oils and now I'm switching to acrylics. Actually did 2 of them. Gave one to our son.
@TheArtSherpa Жыл бұрын
I love art on saw blades. It was an art form i got into when living in the south it's so super cool. Have you tried Golden open paints? They were made for oil artists that switched to acrylic. They have a much open much longer. The medium I use is basically the body of the open paints.
@dreamalamb4259 Жыл бұрын
@@TheArtSherpa never heard of Golden. Started with Liquitex basics. Pretty much adjusted but I know you know it's been quite a journey. I'm trying to get the 2 requested Christmas gift paintings so I can paint the dear in the woods. Drew my first deer on paper thx to you.

Breaking things down into steps that make sense to you can be a journey. Sometimes it is clear other times it is the chicken and the egg.

Hi Cinnamon, I am doing this tutorial and am at the part where I am repainting the sky to readjust the distance issue. My problem is, is that my Liquidex cad yellow med and cad red mix is not covering my white sun very well. I have applied two coats drying in between each. Do I just keep applying paint until I get proper coverage or is there something else I need to do ? Thank you for your help and great teaching method. I have learned so much 😊
@TheArtSherpa6 ай бұрын
Believe it or not, add a small touch of white to mix to that mix make it more opaque, then apply another layer of the mix without white. That should help. 💝

Hey Cinnamon if I am painting on a12x16 will the deer be the same size or should I make him little bigger the bigger the canvas is? Thanks
@BrandiWineRn Жыл бұрын
Hey Cinnamon u ever tried using those insulated cups with lids for coffee bc I use it and it keeps my coffee hot. I will forget to drink it and it would go cold as I paint until I started using one. Try it it’s a life changer lol

Just wondering what is the difference between satin glazing liquid and gloss glazing liquid?
@TheArtSherpa Жыл бұрын
Satin will still add a nice sheen, but won't have the high shine of gloss. But both will even the finish , make the colors pop and protect your paintings. 💜
