Lovely plans. Love the dress ideas. I have had this happen to me I machine washed a long sleeved top, and when I took it out half of one sleeve had ripped off!!! I have no idea why 😂 Great video, thanks for sharing ❤

Ahh no, sorry you had this happen too. I'm still heartbroken about it! my washing machine gets a beating with the amount of prewashing I do so maybe it was just throwing a tantrum?! 😂❤️

I second the motion for metallics as neutrals! Especially in shoes, I’ve worn gold and silver metallic ballet flats with everything. That pink tweed is gorgeous. You’ll just have to be brave and cut carefully⭐️ ❤️

Love that coat pattern - I wouldn't mind having a go at that myself. Your tweed fabric is fabulous. There is someone on Minerva who has made a tweed skirt and jacket set. I think it is the same pattern as yours but can't find it to show you but it was just beautiful with sort of fringing on the pockets and skirt hem. I am really looking forward to seeing what you make with it and can imagine it would suit you so well.

Oh wow, I'll have a look through their site and see if I can find it! I'd love some more inspiration before I cut into the tweed. I love the idea of the fringing as well. I was thinking of adding something like that in gold to the jacket to make the gold threads in the tweed really stand out! ❤️

My neice is getting married in October and I've been looking for inspiration for something to make for me to wear after I've finished doing all the alterations on her dress and the bridesmaids... Im in Nashville so yes, it's going to be at a gorgeous barn venue and I have boots to wear and an option, long-sleeved wrap dress, if the weather is cool. However, that time of the year it could be 90 degrees F or 30 we just don't know. I also just happen to be knitting a gorgeous Brushed Alpaca Silk and Merino sweater with an open gauge that could be an option to go with a longer skirt.... I love your style and immediately thought of you. Any ideas for a warmer weather fall dress pattern or a skirt to go with cowboy boots and a wedding? lol sorry so long 💙

I had a rayon dress rip itself up in the washing machine once. I was devastated, I spent a _lot_ of time getting that to fit perfectly. I decided it either got caught around the agitator, or got hopelessly tangled (which is so rare!) tore and got out of the tangle. I fully sympathise with your loss 😩
