I love all these ideas and watched this video twice to take notes! This is my favorite video about home + autumn this year! I especially loved the details you include like cozy spaces, whimsical woodland details, decorating the coffee area, and those playlists are awesome! I would love to see your take on these things with Winter (without Christmas). I love Christmas, but Winter interiors can be so awesome!

Ah, autumn! Where I am (Phoenix), the coming week's high temperatures will be 38C-41C, but next weekend the high temperatures are projected to be only 36C and 37C! The sky is a beautiful beige-blue sepia, and a gentle breeze will dry your hair in minutes like a hot blow dryer. Thank God my entire living/dining area is done in mid-century autumnal oranges, golds, reds, and browns! Three months every year, my home is perfectly seasonal - even though outside remains like a blast furnace!

@@dantierandbalogh We're halfway into September, and today's high is a projected 104F/40C. UGH! I would love some cold and damp!!!! Isn't that funny? My arthritis in my old Irish bones, though, would probably cripple me. I love your videos, and I am so happy that you will be able to design spaces for YOU (I think it might be less fulfilling to be limited to clients' desires and then never even be able to see the fruits of your efforts when you walk away). I find architectural styles to be so interesting. A plain British box would be something to be admired in my city of plain, beige, stucco ("rendered"?) boxes with red-tile roofs. Fortunately, my little dirt-colored condo (end unit in what you would call a terraced home) at least has a Spanishy-Mexicany facade (stucco, some arches, Saltillo tile porch and patio). I think older homes like yours from the 1980s and mine from 1975 have so much more character and soul,- even when plain. I think MidMod meets Zen is the perfect combo for a home like that! It will be fun for all of us to see what you've done when you would like to show it to us! I know you're busy, so please don't feel as though you should reply. I know that you can't carry on conversations with everyone who leaves a comment, LOL! Au revoir!

we've had an autumnal weather all summer here in Ireland and I'm still excited for actual Autumn, my dream home (not there yet) is dark cottagecore so deep and jewel colours would be my choice anyway but just the idea of hot chocolate, floofy sweaters, cats and dogs curled in front of the fire makes me smile, thank you for this lovely video, real treat 🍂🍁❤ ps. Fall is my favourite season too! Prepping for fall means stacking the wood for the winter. Picking the pumpkins from the garden, and wrapping myself in a comfy sweater, nestled by the fire, with a book. Greetings from France ~

I love the change of seasons and am looking forward to fall, even as I was cutting zinnias, basil, and marigolds for a small fresh flower bouquet for the table. I know fall is coming, and I've already bought a little pot of mums that have yet to bloom. I had 1 little pumpkin survive in the garden, and it is now on the front porch bench. I'll change out the sea shells to a bowl of acorns my granddaughter and I collected. I'll also change out pillow covers and warm up my home. Happy fall!

Completely adore marigolds Jenn! 🌼 Some of my mums died last year, only 1 survived! I have been pinching it, hoping the blooms come around (it's a gorgeous orange one). Pumpkin spice drinks don't actually contain pumpkin, it's the spice combination that evokes the taste of a pumpkin pie. You can diy your own spice mix. Anyone got any tips for me - I love the idea of candles and have several, but the smoke produced from them really affects me (I'm super sensitive to smoke, artificial airflow and aerosols) does anyone know any good sented faux flicker candles?

Wow in the UK I don't think we get scented led candles. Just get led candles and then buy a diffuser to create that autumn aroma 🤗
