Beautiful !!! I like that you narrated it a lot. I like that you included segments on gardens and books.

Thank you! 💙 I think I will stick to this chatty format rather than leave silent parts with music playing 🤗 Thank you bluebird 🐦

My favorite season is Winter ❄️. I did a "Nantucket Tree" years ago.

I always learn something new with every video you share Jacqueline. Interesting style. I love hydrangeas. I think I must be one of the only people to detest kitchen Island benches. I prefer a country table and chairs in the kitchen. Mind you I'm not much of a cook so that's probably why 😊

Thank you so much, I appreciate that🙏🙏 I wouldn't mind a kitchen island in our kitchen 😅 ours is so small, I need more counter space for cooking 🤣 Although admittedly I love cooking! 🍝

I don’t know if it would still be considered coastal but if you are like me and don’t always like a lot of white everywhere you can actually find some pretty nice “industrial” furniture pieces that complement a beachy room or trade the white wall paint for a light tan. At least that’s what I did when designing my bedroom. I also have a black metal “farmhouse” like bed frame which works well.

Sounds like you'd like my new video "Coastal Cowgirl" - sounds very similar to what you're describing 😊😊
@darkserpentcat33093 ай бұрын
@@dantierandbalogh I did watch that video and while there were a lot of elements I liked, I am not big on “cowboy/cowgirl” art and my room is definitely more coastal. The industrial bookcase and lamp I got was more based off of boardwalks and practicality after my last bookcase completely fell apart. The “farmhouse” bed (which might not even be farmhouse) was chosen because my last wooden platform bed had had all the slacks (or whatever the wooden planks you put the mattress on) had bent within a few months. I also know that I tend to lean towards nature inspired aesthetic with elements of traditional pieces, and preferably some fantasy elements. Which is why I have found myself being drawn to cottage core, dark cottage core (which has color palette I generally prefer and is less frilly) and dark academia videos but I still love the beach and have a lot of art work involving the ocean and a lot of beach aesthetic (although even the beach/coastal aesthetic has elements I dislike alot)

Oooh that's hard to define😅 We have lots of historical styles in this playlist : kzbin.info/aero/PLGM-L00BHx3K4TUN9zgUlkpmP_WblQ6a_&si=kHNKUI7V2L_prMBr I would personally start at Victorian! But feel free to browse the collection🤗🤗

Could you do an Adirondack themed video? The Adirondack Mountains are in upstate NY. We have the old Great Camps in the mountains and many houses on the shores and islands of Lake George.
@dantierandbalogh4 ай бұрын
Funnily enough I was planning to do a Lakehouse design style video🤗 So I will now include the Adirondacks! I knew about Adirondack chairs & the area in general, Catskills too, but not much on the architecture. But WOW... the twig buildings in the Great Camps are phenomenal 🤩 Thank you for that info Megh 🙏🙏 I always wanted to have summers on a lake growing up (blame the Parent trap lol) but now that I live in Scotland, I will be doing so😄 (although we call them Lochs here😉) 🏞️

Wow Ma'am! That is completely incredible. I'm sure you know a lot more about Nantucket history than me haha😅 Thank you for sharing that story; it's comments like that from our subscribers that brighten our day😊☀️ I am now reading about Tristram Coffin online, who apparently was from near Plymouth UK. I have been to *that* Plymouth many a time 😄
