Bev, I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel. When I watched one of your videos for the first time, I knew almost immediately that you and I have the very same taste in decor. Your vignettes are just stunning. After today's video, I was shocked to find someone besides myself who loves Cream of Wheat! I find most people think it's gross. And then you mentioned the thrill of finding the little lumps in it as a kid. I knew exactly what you were talking about. I have that fond memory too! I had to laugh.

I LOVE Cream of Wheat! When I was a teenager, I asked my Mom to make it WITH LUMPS! She laughed and said, “for 25 years I’ve tried to make it without lumps and now I need to make it with lumps!” it’s a very fond memory for me!

OmG I just put my favorite fall tablecloth on yesterday and added pretty placemats to the back of my chairs. I washed them hung them on the chairs to dry and decided I loved how they looked, but wasn't sure...now I am!

OHHHH, I luv my Cream of Wheat made with milk, and added butter and cinnamon. My favorite Fall childhood memory, is raking up the leaves for Mom, and then laying down in the middle of the pile, and taking a nap amongst the wonderful musty smell and warm sun on my face and drifting off to a cozy fall nap. I luvd , to shuffle my feet in the leaves as I walked home from school. How i would luv to have Tea with you on your sweet porch, I look forward to it when we get to spend our Happy Days with our Heavenly Father.

I like to use the oil to add moisture at least every few months. Yes I agree always use your iron before you put a table cloth on your table. Gorgeous as usual. We bought our home in 1988 and it was built in 1907. It’s an American Four Square (not high end). We have 2200 sq ft. and the rooms are small so I know what you are talking about. We took in the back porch where the old kitchen used to be to make a family room because we had no privacy in the front ( didn’t inherit a foyer like you have😊). We love our home but it’s a labor of love continuously. We raised our 3 children here . Thanks for all the videos 🍁 PS. Love the lamp!

You truly have a gift! Love love love your style of decorating. I especially love when you have a story which is just about with everything & the beautiful music that plays in the background. BTW can you share that with us? Your memory of creme of wheat reminded me of what my Mother would make us for breakfast. She cooked cornmeal, butter (lots of it), milk & sugar and it was the bomb. I especially loved the lumps too - very special. My parents were of German descent.

I too come from a family with European roots, My father's family was from Spain and my mother's from France and I was born in Cuba but left when I was 9 years old to live in Spain, so there is something in me that always takes me to these type of romantic, colorful decor. My home is pretty much full of wall art galleries and very old world. I am in the process of doing my DIY kitchen with French country theme, much to resemble old style and I am enjoying every minute of it, even if the rest of the world don't, I do. Thank you for transporting us to this whimsical wonderful world. ❤

The very very best best! Just got some amazing dishes, square cake plate and expresso set in the blk & white check trimmed in gold. I was much higher quality than I expected for the price....so thrilled. I ave the Mckenzie courtly check napkins I wanted to do Cristmas ornaments as th real deal is so costly but...covered a few outlet covers and used the midge podge and it's just not bright enough!"

I think you ruined it by covering the beauty of the woodbon this table; why not not keep it bare?! Wood is much prettier than cloth. Just my thought/opinion 😉

Nothing is ruined when one loves what they do😊. I think the natural wood is beautiful and have it displayed for 10 months out of the year. During the holidays I dress my tables with linens. I hope this helps you to understand my thought process.
