September is just a few hours away… leaves are turning brown, the temperature has dropped considerably and the Hogwarts Express will soon be on its way to Hogsmeade Station.

As I get ready to welcome autumn and all its charm, I wanted to create some cosy stories for you, and hopefully inspire you and offer you some autumnal comfort.
Also, as I’m still unpacking my stuff in the new apartment -and searching for new old furniture- I thought I’d share my thoughts about my favourite season through this compilation of cosy clips until I’m able to film again.

Oh, among all your lovely videos this is one of the most beautiful! To me autumn is walking by the wild sea on my home island in the Baltic sea...to forage for wild food in the forest, rosehips, nuts and mushrooms... pick apples and plums and pears in the garden and preserve all what the garden and nature gives for the winter, autumn on the island is long, soft and peaceful, we have plenty of time before the winter comes to prepare...But, these past three years autumn has been very different as we spend the academic year in the Arctic region...No apples can grow there, nor any nuts as we have a very short, intense autumn there, beautiful and magic and I pick wild berries and walk in the forest and among the mountains...and as I walk I remember my Sami ancestors that lived among those mountains and along the mighty Torne River with their herds of reindeer...and I feel home in that strange land on a very deep level...even though I grew up so very far away on that little island...and soon we will have snow again, and the long dark arctic winter will embrace us once more...a time when the polar night makes it safe to let one's thoughts wander free under the northern lights...one simply cannot get lost

My favorite autumn activities are walking along on streets covered with crisp leaves and listening to the sound they make with every step. Carving pumpkins with family or friends for Halloween

So lovely 🥰🥰 at the end of September beginning of October the best time of Autumn when its still sunny days and all the beautiful autumn leaves are as uts most colourful stage, that's my favorite time of year. I think make leafroses of fallen maple leaves. So pretty, and they hold a long time!

It’s always a lovely delight to watch your channel and the music is so soothing. Peaceful. But it’s hard for me to like fall or winter for its on on me. I have raynauds disease . So when the weather starts getting colder I start not being able to tolerate it and can turn blue and covering as much as possible doesn’t really help and there is no cure for it so I have to sit by any form of heat that I can I have to live only in my bedroom until spring when it begins slowly warming up. BUT regardless , fall has its beauty and is a quiet time of year and more of a time for baking comfort foods. I have to enjoy the best I can and that’s by reading fun stories and doing art and crafting to ‘ happify ‘ my surroundings And my cat cuddling next to me while I put on a Chanel that has for hrs, a burning fireplace. There’s my peace! 🙂

Good morning to you Indoora, how wonderful for you, congratulations on finding your new home, a season to be in gratitude for the fruits and berries lovingly grown, for the turn of the season the beautiful Blue moon ,the slowing down of Gaia. So much colour beautiful late flowers that bloom such perfect shades of deep russet reds sunflowers perfect golden and brown shades it all makes a beautiful canvas to capture my imagination. As I walked along the eustuary close to my home I watched the Geese fly over once more moving on to pastures new their new home for the Autumn and Winter season, they look so magestic against the sky line in formation each knowing exactly the seasons changing instincts to migrate, I can hear their noisy chatter excited to be moving on before the winter chill sets in. Sights and sounds of autumn, As the season progresses the smell of wood smoke fills the air, my thoughts of hot chocolate to be enjoyed in a cosy room dreaming and hearing the sounds of late evening as the Owl calls out into the night, the sound of the fox calling somewhere in the distance, Autumnal dreams. There are so many things I love about Autumn. I’ve just begun, but I’ve started with new bedding, white and grey with a thin blue layer underneath and an orange pillow with pumpkins in the center. I’ve painted a pumpkin with some similar colors to display in our bedroom as well. I’m also making my way through the Harry Potter books even though I’ve already read them a few times. So much more to look forward to with decorating, cornstalks, pumpkins, making applesauce, walking in the woods, making a fire, wearing my candy corn scarf. There’s always so much I want to do. It’s not autumn here yet in California, as we are still in the 90’s and everything is flourishing. I do look forward to Fall, I love the leaves, the cool days and decorating. Oh and drinking tea and making soups. ☺️

Olympia Typewriter, it was the most common typewriter in 1970's almost everyone owned one even business they were of high quality. and very compacted unlike others much bigger .

fantastic !! it will last you forever, just well maintained, that is cleaning, no water or soap, sprays , polish sprays, just a fine/cotton cloth only to be used for it, if the keys become stuck as they do, add a touch over olive oil , and immediately wipe over . @@thecottagelibrary happy typing!!

@@thecottagelibrary This is a must !!! do not lend !!!!!, it can never leave your hands. It may never come back the same way!!! I forgot, just the cloth to wipe over dust inside, and each key, pad at the body top, and regularly and never leave it near moist area, kitchen , bathroom, window, the moisture will affect it , to rust , most of it would be hand made technology by one person.

This was a beautifully written letter to us all. It was brilliantly recorded as well. I love the sunlight on the gingham curatin and the simple shots that are just so nice. Your embroidery looks so good too!! Oh man. A favorite autumn activity/memory that I have. I remember when I was 10 we bought a new puppy named Precious. She was a shetland sheepdog. We bought her in the autumn time. Her fur matched that of the leaves. I started to potty train her outside and it only took her one day. We just spent all day out there. The sun was so warm and we did not have to wear coats, but I had long sleeves on. It was such a beautiful day. I remember we were raking the leaves and jumping in them together. She was such a good dog and lived for only eleven years, but that was one of the first memories I made with her. She was like a best friend to me and followed me everywhere. She was MY dog.

I enjoyed this from beginning to end. The poppies needlepoint is gorgeous. I have an old poppies printed kitchen towel that somehow, despite being well used, frayed hems, the red poppies are still vibrant. Silly of me, but I love that old towel. Thank you for this video. 😊

I love the sparkling fresh fallen snow, the peace, tranquility and coziness of it, making a snow angel in a fresh fallen snow, warm fuzzy mittens, time to snuggle with my five cats and two sweet little dogs, hot coffee and a good book….oh how I live for fall and winter here in upstate New York. I’m 64 and I never get tired of fall and winter, the child in me gets so excited! When my now adult children were little we lived in Grafenwoehr, Germany and it was very similar to here in upstate New York. I used to love to walk with my children into the village at Christmas time, awesome memories

My crafted pumpkins and autumnal decorations are starting to appear in this cottage! I can’t wait for crisp autumn walks with our darling dog. Coming home to a nice warm drink or jacket potato! A huge bowl of vegan stew too! I make it at the start of the week and it lasts us a few days, reheating it! With added warm spices to warm us up! My jumpers and cosy clothes also await their time again! I come alive in the autumn, after a hot summer. It was in the air this morning! That cool, fresh feeling and I almost squealed! Beautiful! I really enjoy the part of Autumn that the leaves change color and the golden light of sunrise and sunset hit the trees just right and the light shines through leaving a golden hue on the ground and buildings around. The gray cloudy skies and the light rains and mists.

Are you enjoying your new home? I always enjoyed fixing up a new home when I was younger. We usually do not notice fall here till late October I’m hoping we get an early fall. I really hate the heat of summer. This year it was over 100 degrees for nearly two months. I really don’t decorate for fall The only season my house changes is Christmas but I do enjoy using my sunroom more in the fall. It’s cool enough to enjoy. I’d have to say our fall acts more like spring. It’s cool yet warm. ~ Janet 😘

Indoora, aqui no Brasil, setembro é o início do verão. É época em que a natureza está em flor. O clima é agradável e o perfume das flores está no ar. É a melhor época para os brasileiros. O pomar está com o cheiro de pólen e promete muitas frutas para o inverno. Mas também amo o outono e o inverno que é uma delícia a casa aquecida com lareira ou fogão a lenha; Amo seus vídio com suas cores amarronzado,acastanhado e com cores de abóbora. Hola, te saludo desde el noreste de México, aqui el otoño tarda mucho en llegar, por ejemplo aqui en mi ciudad aun en noviembre tenemos temperaturas de hasta 30 °C. Pero hay un día en el que inesperadamente se puede percibir un cambio en el aire y si prestas atención puedes detectar el delicioso aroma del otoño. Tal vez sólo está en mi mente, pero puedo jurar que el otoño tiene aroma 🥰 asi que aqui seguiré esperando ese momento en lo que disfruto cada uno de tis videos
