Its pronounced like choc-oar-a. There's a Mountain you passed on the way to North Conway. Right off of 16 in Chocorua NH, There is a bridge with an amazing view of the mountain and lake.

I should have called you to ask 😄. It made me think of chocolate as in the hot cocoa from polar express. North Conway was amazing!! I will certainly be staying there again and again. The Christmas loft was so much fun too. Can’t wait to edit that video. Thanks!

That little house you were talking about is called a freaght house. It is where freaght was stored when it was wating for a train to pick it up. Or when a train dropped off freaght it would wait in that building until someone picked it up. The station where people boarded the train was where the railroad crossing is now. I recommend you return for steam in the snow, steam in the snow is when the Conway Scenic Railroad takes there steam locomotive up to almost Croferds Notch and back to North Conway in the SNOW. Its a big thing they do in early January. If you go on KZbin you can see videos of it.

@@TheCandleEnthusiast your welcome! One of the things that they do on the snow train is they do photo runbys. What happens is the train stops at a location and unloads any people who want to take photos or videos of the train. Then the train backs up and then runs past the people taking the pictures or videos. That is why it is called a photo runbys. Then the train backs up and picks up the people who were taking the pictures and videos and continues down the track to the next runby location. I never been on one and the train will probably get back to North Conway in the evening but from what i hear its a lot of fun!!

@@TheCandleEnthusiast your welcome! Have fun!!! You might want to ware snow pants. NH gets a lot of snow in the winter time. Also, plan to get to the station early so you can get a parking spot. If you get there early, you can even watch the railroad take the steam locomotive out of the round house and cupling it up to the train.

You should have taken the hour long trip thru Bartlett and I believe it was Pinkham Notch!!!No stops just Mountains, and mountains...I can tell u took the train in the opposite direction towards Lincoln.

I've done the orient express a few times. It's nice but definitely still a train. Filled with Americans and old retirees that rather take you out of the old-world experience :L
