AUTUMN TRY ON HAUL 2024 | Classy Outfits For Fall Fashion

Hello ladies, so today as the title would suggest, is a little look at what's new in my wardrobe so far this Autumn. A day early again I know, but normal service will resume next week! But hopefully lots of outfit inspiration in today's Autumn haul that might spring a few ideas with pieces you already have in your own wardrobes! I'm actually currently in Belfast for my friends surprise birthday! I've been so nervous this past month speaking to her allI the time and not spilling the secret! She was over the moon, it was wonderful to see her face, if she doesn't mind I'll share a bit of footage with you all later as it was so sweet:) You'd have all giggled at my packing mess up though! I was utterly convinced it was 7kg only, so I prioritized 'out out' outfits and bought barely anything for the daytime! Got to checkin and it was 20kg, so gutted! That's going to be an interesting vlog isn't it, here I am in the same outfit 3 days running haha! I'm looking forward to hearing from you all and sending big hugs as always, Jess:)

Yes! My feet have grown as I’ve got older - I’ve got one foot half a size bigger than the other, so that’s a challenge! Very classic looks. Thank you again for your style ideas, it’s getting easier to find clothes for the over 40’s now - thank goodness - maybe it’s because I have you to refer to and know where to look. 😊

Yeah I bought that one at the end of Summer but actually finding I can still wear it in Autumn with a cardi over the top:) Love that look! Mango have actually got some great pieces in atm, loving their slight boho twist aswell with all the ruffled blouses and dresses:)

Jess, thanks so much for this wonderful collection! As to feet… in my uni/modeling days, I wore a U.S. size 7 or 7-1/2, 2A width, 5A heel width (yes, good shoes still came in heel widths in the ‘60s). Now, I wear a U.S. size 9-1/2 or 10, B width. Aargh! 😊

I just had the same problem with the Zara website (for the US), there’s no fabric composition information. Going through chat, the agent kept insisting that it’s on there, but it isn’t. It took ages for her to just finally tell me what it is, and I was so glad I persevered. The sweater I was considering was a horrible combination of acrylic and polyester, neither of which I can wear. Either the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing there, or they took the fabric composition off the website because they aren’t any good and didn’t bother tell their customer service people. Whatever the case, I won’t shop anywhere without that information. If made of a good, natural fiber, the website will not need to hide anything.

Exactly that Kimberly! What a rubbish experience. I know it’s illegal to not share fabric composition on the wash care labels but I’m not sure about online. But I guess if it was there before and isn’t now (as I experienced too) then it seems to be a conscious decision! Honestly why don’t they just use tencel or similar instead of polyester? It’s only a tiny bit more expensive to buy and so much nicer and sustainable. On the flip side of all that moaning about Zara I noticed mango are actually using a lot more sustainable fabrics which is fab to see:) So I’ll be spending my pennies there instead atm😘

I went from a 6 to a 7 on one foot and a 6 to a 6-1/2 on another - but I also say autumn, so it could be that.. 😂😂😂 I know the high neck jumpers are popular, but look dreadful on busty gals like me. Yup noses, feet and facial hair. I have always had a bit of a nose and caught a boyfriend gazing at me aged 15, I thought with admiration. He simply commented that his mother had told him that noses continue to grow and he obviously didn’t want to take the risk with me

Hi Jess loved pretty much everything in the video. I'm definitely going to add burgundy to my winter wardrobe, but not yet as I'm in Spain where the temperature has been up in the high twenties! In answer to your feet question my feet have got bigger, I used to be a size 6 and now 6 and a half or even 7 sometimes - half sizes are a pain as not always available. Enjoy Belfast.x

Hello 👋🏽 my friend Jess, oh no I miss this one yesterday. What a beautiful cardigan in the first outfit 😍. Burgundy is such a beautiful shade. Gorgeous black dress 👗. I love the brown jumper (tunic). It looks so cozy and chic. I like the double denim on you, but on me well maybe not 😅. I love that rule, make sure a new item pairs with at least 3 staple items in your signature wardrobe 👏🏽👏🏽. Hi Jess, love the lookbook as per usual, and I wanted to ask you if you could do a tutorial on your hairdo because it's so classy. Yes, your feet do grow as you get older. Now, granted shoes designed in different places are also shorter or longer depending on the average feet stats of that particular nation (e.g. I'm Italian and my feet are long and narrow, so I'm a size 41 in Italian shoes, but if I buy French shoes I'm forced to get a 42 and put a half-insole inside). Just thought I would drop a little knowledge from my days working for an Italian shoe brand :P

@@FashionStyleEdit my nonna (grandma) used to say “old age is mean” 😂 but we have the luxury of displaying our future big features in style, which makes it better. Uh sure, what would you like to ask? I have to say, I have a sweet spot for nice designs that are also comfortable, and never settle for less. Walking comfortably avoids tons of problems, so I think on the long term too. That’s why my shoes last 8 years on an average: only buy quality, do a round of leather care at least every month, and they’ll be with you even if you walk miles. ❤️

I purchased the black kitten heels from Charles &Keith that you own. I don't have a wide foot, but the front feels a bit tight. They don't offer half sizes so I wondering if you also experienced the same with that shoe (I'm new to pointed heels) and do you recommend trying to stretch them out? Hi lovely, well, I have a story about those shoes! So as you know I wear them all the time, fave heels, been to London all day in them and I would have said comfiest heels ever! Didn't have to stretch them out at all or even wear them in really. Then I wore them Saturday night and was dancing all night and strewth, I don't ever want to wear heels again hahaha! My poor feet feel ruined haha! So while yes I think they're great on a day to day basis do not put your feet through it for a night out!! x

Yes, crazy my feet have slowly grown again about half a size and I’m in my 60s. Important not to wear too small shoes because they can cause real health issues with your feet when you get older.

Not sure that feet “grow” but apparently they do flatten consequently adding a half size or so to length. This definitely happened to me during pregnancy with additional weight. Perhaps age can be a factor too?
