Yea. It’s been discussed. They updated the combat system now. So the enemies are somewhat smarter already. So I am curious what they will do next. But foremost that requires new buildings and new jobs, in an earlier update bandits already started fighting animals which they didn’t in the past. So I hope they just offer a peaceful difficulty for people who don’t want town fights. And a more survival like function for people who want to defend and so on Would be nice to include theft and criminals in general Including like jails for naughty villagers. Or even schools to boost kids skills.

It's amazing! This update is like a free DLC: Bandits are scary now! Like equipment/clothing doubled if not tripled, weapons tripled, lots of new other items.

I didn’t see a dynasty rep myself , believed it was standing with the key who liked me by then Just did 2-3 kings quests myself Recorded it on an older save

Are you in the oxbow? Then wait for the Herald and follow the quest line first. Are you in the valley or oxbow. Please be aware that the Herald will come only after 3 years ingame time.

Sorry if i'm late to the party, but i havent played MD for a year: are the enemies an actual challenge now? you said the bandit camps can be quite the struggle, did they improve the AI as well? i felt like i could outrange enemies quite easily with proper times sprints, which took a lot of tension out of the fights^^ i'm not someone that expects souls-gameplay, i dont want that, i'm just curious if enemies are more of a threat now. cause without that threat i'm not that compelled to grind for lategame armor. maybe for completion-sake

Well. You can always lose aggro running away and then waiting for them to reset and shoot them. But the enemies have different scales of difficulties now and definitely pose a challenge. Then you can block and so and focus on thread vulnerabilities. But it’s not souls yet. But with the overhaul of the combat system I expect a lot for the future

This game would be AWESOME if they could use the world Red Dead Redemption 2 used. Basically if they could insert medieval dynasty into that type of world the game would be so amazing.

I agree that the world is a bit small. And handcrafted for both the Oxbow and valley. Either a larger procedural generated world (which may very well became much more ugly). Or a larger world with random towns for example. Would bring a lot more replayability I hate being held at the borders with a message I can’t leave

Usually stutters with bad internet or maybe graphics Try toggling vsync / disable anisotropic filtering. No stutter for me during gameplay so I can’t say anything about it

@@ForgottenGames It doesn't matter. This game just stutters. I have both PS5 and PC versions. Both stutter all the time like crazy.

stuttering a bit better, but you auto crash during a specific season change a few years into the game and it becomes unplayable, nomatter what you do, building or not, once you hit that point it becomes unplayable, every console player has this problem because the glitch is in the coding not the players

Look for spruce trees in the game (the ones that give you 3 logs) If you cut them down you should get a new item called spruce bark that you can then use to make black dye. Enjoy

No, it runs great, but right now there is an auto crash going on for everyone on console during season change after a few in game years that makes it unplayable, if they hurry and fix it, id say its pretty nice

You can continue with an existing save, some change might only take place after you sleep or the season change. If you are invested in to the game by all means continue but if you were not that far along maybe a fresh start would be better, making sure you do not mis any of the stories around the map

yeah not a great review because of one thing. it does not work on console. Its a shame everybody but you youtubers is talking about this. Be warned everyone the game is unplayable, it auto crashes a few years into the game during season change. It does not matter rather you build or not, the issue is in the coding not anything we players do. I even tested it with just doing missions and building nothing at all, it still reaches that none stop crash point. And the only reason they have done nothing to fix it, is because none of the youtubers are talking about it. Literally all console players have this issue but they dont answer us, or they tell us its us. No it is a glitch in the coding.

Update idea which would bring a whole new game player to this game. The kingdoms at war update. A cilvil war has broken out in the kingdom and its turned into a free for all. You can now fight other villages and raid / ally with them and they will also try to raid / destory you aswel unless you ally, i bought this game thinking could do that and i was hyped then realised it wasnt like that and just stopped playing. Please dont say bellwright as that has no survial aspect really, food isnt to keep you alive its just a buff
