Yes Rowan, one of the coziest homelike van builds, like brenda says. There are some who say they "live" in their car who have the back just filled up with their clothes and belongings thrown in but all they really do is sleep in them, either on a bed in the back or in the reclining front seat. And their Reflectix is not covered with cheerful cloth, it's just bare. Never do they cook in their car/van or anything else to speak of. You truly "live" in your van, only thing missing is bathroom facilities. You are an inspiration & encouragement, thank you for posting your life.

Hi Rowan, I'm not too new, I've been watching since right before you got Ruby girl. Sorry I haven't said hello until now, I've been taken classes to learn Medical Office Administration over the last year. I just finished my last week of school, I'll be graduating soon.🥳But, I love your videos, Rubs is uber cute and has grown so fast!🐕 I would love to have van, and be able to travel like you do and just get a way from life, I can't go full time, I take care of my mom who isn't well. But, It's something I'd love to do maybe over the weekends to just get some me time and see the sights. Good for you on your classes and even more on taking care of your mom. Maybe you could even find a way to take her on shorter trips if her health allows. It might be just the medicine she needs. Nature has a wonderful way of bringing us back to health mentally and physically. I was a caregiver for my mom before she passed years ago so I know how hard of a job it is but you will be so grateful that you did it. What's good is take 2 primo sausages,sliced up+an apple in chunks,fry them up in olive oil+you can even add some raisins,it's really delicious,I have that for breakfast alot,I think you should try hooking a go-pro to Ruby so it will literally show life from her perspective,just a thought

I’m inundated with apples at the moment from a tree in my garden (in the UK) that I bought as a Bramley - a cooking apple I love. However it’s turned out to be a different apple, halfway between a cooker and an eater and has given me loads of fruit. I’ve made crumbles, apple turnovers, pies, sauce and apple cake and frozen masses. Going to do apple pancakes next … but I’m a bit fed up with apples for now 😂

The van is really put together. You've done a remarkable job of creating a workable space to live in. I commend you on your thoughtfulness regarding safety and the fact that you are ever mindful of your surroundings. I would recommend a small reinforced "Louisville Slugger" however. I'm pretty sure you can find one in a sporting goods section. I have a couple of regulation sized ones that I keep in the corners of the entry doors just in case. You never know. I'm 70 and while I have 2 large dogs, sometimes you need a little extra something to convince people that you aren't a push over. Keep enjoying your life dear girl. I have been watching your channel for a while now and don’t think I’ve ever commented. Soooo….I wanted to say that I really love your positivity and cheerfulness, even when you’re sick. I also adore your cozy home, in all its seasons. I’m from WA state but now live in Idaho. This weekend we picked honey crisp from an orchard near Othello, WA. So fun to get organic apples fresh off the tree. A couple years back we enjoyed a New England fall color tour…seeing your apple pick today took me back to such a sweet time.
